The video for the talented Mr. Ryan Leslie’s “You’re Not My Girl” just recently premiered. The single is the lead from his sophomore album Transition due out November 3, 2009.
It seems director Anthony Mandler (”Run This Town”) is putting a signature style on his videos which is gritty with a lot of tinted color. The comparisons definitely can be made between this video and the former. The song is a near perfect mid-tempo but whilst the video matches the tempo it’s still a little boring; it just goes nowhere.
