The Joseph Khan-directed video for Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor” featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey impacted the net yesterday. The video focuses on Dre and his return to the music scene.
It’s already been established that Detox may not be a classic with the mediocre releases and pushbacks but finally with the chart success of “I Need a Doctor” the album shall be popular.
The video for Fefe Dobson’s latest infectious single, “Ghost,” premiered the other day. The single is lifted from her forthcoming album entitled Joy, out August 17.
Dobson is looking some kinda hot donning black and white pant suits. This video revolves around Dobson’s boyfriend in the video being caught in the act and it hits his conscience hard throughout the rest of the video turning him into a paranoid loon.
Yesterday, T-Pain released the video for his single “Reverse Cowgirl.” Now, we hopped off the T-Pain bandwagon long before it was stated to do so; we do not need anyone dictating when something is cool or not. BUT after this song was released it was like 2006 all over again because this song is so incredible CATCHY. From the emphatic beats to the reverse sound effects T-Pain is keeping autotune alive, for now.
As for the video, it’s an entire collection of nice visuals. There is no storyline just a string of effects that complement the song so well. The use of slow motion in the video has to be the best thing. We do not even care about his album because none of his albums are that great in their entirety but his singles, that’s a whole different story.

Just the other day the September 2009 issue of i-D magazine was revealed with models Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez, Chanel Iman and Arlenis Sosa on the cover. Yesterday the behind-the-scenes video showed up on the magazine’s website and today the editorial “Thriller” found its way into the forums. The ALL-American Rejects just recently released the video for their single “Wind Blows”. The single is a change of tone from “Gives You Hell” with a semi-epic feel to it. It’s a decent video for a good song, check it out.
