The Ray Kay-directed video for Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends,” off Femme Fatale, premiered earlier and we can already say the video is much better than “Hold It Against Me.” Spears just seems alive in this clip.
The video is set in a post-apocalyptic time, December 21, 2012 to be exact. Now here’s the thing. Team Spears is following a method they use in Asia’s Pop music market with this video. Their will be one video that focuses on the storyline and another that focuses on choreography. With Spears’ level of dancing these days, there’s no telling which version this is that premiered.
Check out the big budget clip below. Spears also secured her spot alongside Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson earning her sixth #1 number album on the Billboard 200 with Femme Fatale this week. The album shifted 276,000 copies which is weak compared to her other opening weeks but still a lot in these times.
Here’s the video premiere of Travis Porter’s latest, “College Girl” off their mizxtape, Music, Money, Magnums. The video is set in a HBCU and will make you want a college girl if you never did before. Check out the video for the midtempo cut below.
Nine years later and Kelly Rowland and Nelly are an on-screen couple once again in the Marc Klasfeld-directed video for Nelly’s “Gone.”
The couple are set in Cancun, Mexico, perfect for Spring Break… A decent video for a decent song.
The video for Willow Smith’s second single, “21st Century Girl,” just premiered.
Arisen by a gypsy, Willow and friends erect a city only to use it as their dance party playground. The song is still weak but at least it has a nice visual to back it up. Take a few minutes to check out the latest from the Smith clan.
A few weeks ago, the rough edit of Wiz Khalifa’s Jake Davis-directed video for “Roll Up” leaked. The video is for the second single, lifted from Khalifa’s debut album, Rolling Papers, due out on March 29. Well check out the cool video featuring Cassie, set in LA.
Bruno Mars is onto his third single from Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The video for “Liquor Store Blues” featuring Damian Marley premiered yesterday.
Wait, is this Wiz Khalifa’s video and is this video about smoking? With the colorful haze of smoke highlighting the two artists you would think the subject matter was of something else. Tune in below…
Weezy finally drops the video for his single, “6 Foot 7 Foot,” featuring Cory Gunz. The video is heavily inspired by Chris Nolan’s Inception.
OKAY! As with all Lady GaGa videos we need a few more views to properly take it in. We like what we see but we just need more views.
Check out the newly released music video for Jennifer Hudson’s single, “Where You At.”
