Beyoncé, whose much anticipated video for “Run The World (Girls)” is finally here, finally. The single, lifted from Beyoncé’s forthcoming album entitled 4, was directed by Francis Lawrence (GaGa’s “Bad Romance”.) This 4 era of Beyonce did not have a rocket start like her contemporaries due to the single underwhelming the masses… So the question is, does the video enhance the single?
Ummm, yes or no cannot be said so easily. In a few words, the video is great. You see, that wild and demon posessed-like choreography is an attraction to us. I mean mama had us laughing when she started convulsing at the shoulders. Beyoncé even does the stanky leg… she just pumps so hard. This choreography following the shoulder to do reminds us of THIS. Man we love Bey for it, she is just so funky. Okay, so the choreography is an A+ but what about the rest.
Hyenas on a leash, a blurred out middle finger, some crazy pieces from the prominent fashion houses, Bey riding a horse and a car explosion are the other high points of the video. Not saying much but it does come together for the song. So the answer to the question is, the video is solid BUT they help each other as neither of them can stand on its own. Also, it was cool how the two dancers were dressed in African and revolutionary attire but were rockin’ those Converse. Watch after…

Plot is thrown out of the window for special attention to detail in the video for Rihanna’s “California King Bed.” From the rose tint to the black and white, every single beauty shot of Rihanna in this video is magazine perfection. This latest video is like the “Only Girl (In the World)” video, her VOGUE pictorial and her Rolling Stone pictorial all wrapped into one. Who knows how this single will fair but maybe this video will help when the song is released to radio. Maybe “California King Bed” will be her next “Take a Bow.”
It seems as though Pitbull’s dance formula, for the clubs, is still going strong from his Rebelution album. Pit’s latest, “Give Me Everything,” featuring Ne-Yo, Nayer and Afrojack is climbing the Billboard Hot 100. Not to mention the clubs are giving the feel-good jam lots of spins. The video premiered earlier this morning. The video follows the concept of some recent video; contemporary night clubbers in an old glamourous building. Take a look below.
Also, check out a leak from Planet Pit, Mr. 305′s upcoming album, due out in June. I can a lot of people “gettin’ off” to this one.

Chris Brown pays homage to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, in the video for “She Ain’t You.” The song happens to sample Jackson’s “Human Nature.” Check out the Colin Tilley-directed clip below.
Check out the video premiere of Swizz Beatz “Everyday (Coolin’)” featuring Eve. The glossy black and white clip features Lil Swizz and Diddy 2.0 busting some soon-to-be old school dance moves i.e. Harlem Shake. View the stylish video below.
The Ray Kay-directed video for Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends,” off Femme Fatale, premiered earlier and we can already say the video is much better than “Hold It Against Me.” Spears just seems alive in this clip.
The video is set in a post-apocalyptic time, December 21, 2012 to be exact. Now here’s the thing. Team Spears is following a method they use in Asia’s Pop music market with this video. Their will be one video that focuses on the storyline and another that focuses on choreography. With Spears’ level of dancing these days, there’s no telling which version this is that premiered.
Check out the big budget clip below. Spears also secured her spot alongside Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson earning her sixth #1 number album on the Billboard 200 with Femme Fatale this week. The album shifted 276,000 copies which is weak compared to her other opening weeks but still a lot in these times.
Here’s the video premiere of Travis Porter’s latest, “College Girl” off their mizxtape, Music, Money, Magnums. The video is set in a HBCU and will make you want a college girl if you never did before. Check out the video for the midtempo cut below.
