There’s no denying that we think Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is to Nicki Minaj as what Born This Way is to Lady GaGa. It’s an album with a few good tracks but overall is one overdone piece of work that should not have been released. Anyways, Nicki Minaj is doing her thing and the album is heading to No. 1 on the Billboard 200. One of the few good tracks receives the video treatment this morning.

Usher struck gold when he released the Diplo & Co.-produced “Climax” back on Valentine’s Day. Less than a month later and we already have have the official music video which was released coinciding with the #NEWVEVO.

The “Climax” video was shot in Atlanta and directed by Sam Pilling. The video described as “dramatic, highly-suspenseful and attention-gripping” is definitely that but at the same time it is a bit over-the-top in vein. While you can feel the climax you wonder what it’s for. Call us simple but the video is not straight forward to understand. “Climax” is the lead single from Usher’s forthcoming album due this Spring.

Beyoncé just dropped another video, this time for the very rhythmic and sensual “Dance For You.” The song is lifted from the Deluxe Edition of 4 and reminds us very much of Destiny’s… “Cater 2 U.”

In the B&W video set in the 30′s, 40′s or is it the 50′s? Anyway, in the B&W video Beyoncé dances like a stripper for some gentleman. It is just what we expected and is a good thing this time. Beyoncé was popping and cracking her body like nothing else. View after…

Isn’t Bey just a vision in white. This is probably the most polished and pretty she has ever looked in any of her videos; everything looks so clean and pure. But were we the only ones shocked to an opening of Beyoncé wearing lingerie? Yea, it’s not a big deal but it certainly created a nude illusion that isn’t the norm from her. The other cool part about the video is the way they shot footage, set in the late 90′s, as if she attended her high school Prom.

Overall, this is definitely a video to make the song better. It’s one of those simple and minimalist approaches Bey made signature during her B’Day era but it works.

When we heard another Girls Aloud member was going solo we couldn’t care any less. Then it was stated that Diplo was on board to produce the project’s lead single…

So the snippet of “Beat Of My Drum” surfaced and it was a bit annoying. Not too long after and the single received its full radio premiere. It was like an entire different song because it was bubble pop heat from the beginning. The single has been playing continuously since.

The same thing goes for the newly released music video. The teasers showed off an awkward Roberts trying to dance, shouting with clenched teeth and whatever else but after the watching the full video…

Get into Roberts twistin’ ‘n’ backin’ it up though. So the snippets and teasers did nothing but in full and placed together the single and video are somethin’ else. It’s pretty obvious that Roberts is no dancer nor does she have much rhythm but her backup dancers and the guys doing their fancy footwork more than make up for it. Beyoncé, whose much anticipated video for “Run The World (Girls)” is finally here, finally. The single, lifted from Beyoncé’s forthcoming album entitled 4, was directed by Francis Lawrence (GaGa’s “Bad Romance”.) This 4 era of Beyonce did not have a rocket start like her contemporaries due to the single underwhelming the masses… So the question is, does the video enhance the single?

Ummm, yes or no cannot be said so easily. In a few words, the video is great. You see, that wild and demon posessed-like choreography is an attraction to us. I mean mama had us laughing when she started convulsing at the shoulders. Beyoncé even does the stanky leg… she just pumps so hard. This choreography following the shoulder to do reminds us of THIS. Man we love Bey for it, she is just so funky. Okay, so the choreography is an A+ but what about the rest.

Hyenas on a leash, a blurred out middle finger, some crazy pieces from the prominent fashion houses, Bey riding a horse and a car explosion are the other high points of the video. Not saying much but it does come together for the song. So the answer to the question is, the video is solid BUT they help each other as neither of them can stand on its own. Also, it was cool how the two dancers were dressed in African and revolutionary attire but were rockin’ those Converse. Watch after…

It seems as though Pitbull’s dance formula, for the clubs, is still going strong from his Rebelution album. Pit’s latest, “Give Me Everything,” featuring Ne-Yo, Nayer and Afrojack is climbing the Billboard Hot 100. Not to mention the clubs are giving the feel-good jam lots of spins. The video premiered earlier this morning. The video follows the concept of some recent video; contemporary night clubbers in an old glamourous building. Take a look below.
