• Video Premiere: Beyonce “Video Phone” feat. Lady GaGa

  After much delay and anticipation, the video premiere for Beyonce’s Hype Williams‘ directed “Video Phone (Extended Remix)” featuring Lady GaGa is here a few hours ahead of its 12am premiere.

  Now we are going to get crazy flack for this but WHAT IN THE HELL! Yes, the video is definitely hot and the women look really GOOD but only in the most vulgar way. Beyoncé has outdone herself in dancing less than a lady… You can’t even use the excuse of this video being art because it’s nothing more than oversexed filth. From the vagina and ass pops to playing with phallus like guns that symbolize penises ejaculating… Let’s not get it confused because what other purpose do those guns and toy weapons have. We could go on but overall this video is messy.

  Of course this video is going to appeal to those who want to see some lude and overly sexy dancing but as an art piece, this is trash for the mind. Take the opinion above for what it is because this will still be extremely popular because it features two of the biggest names in mainstream music.

  P.S. It’s so funny how these big record labels continuously makes this almost porn material for the mainstream and they eat it up. All they care about is their money and walk out. Like we said  before, if you’re a follower you might as well give up your brain, REAL TALK!

• Let the Previews Commence… “Video Phone”

• A GaGa “Telephone” Extension on Beyoncé’s “Video Phone”

  So the Beyoncé/Lady GaGa collaboration has commenced, starting with the leak of the extended version of “Video Phone,” the single. The song is the eighth single from I Am… Sasha Fierce and the video, directed by Hype Williams, will premiere on November 23, 2009.

  No great deal of difference here. The song now has an added intro consisting of flutes and music that would be played during a western showdown. The song then progresses into the original with GaGa’s verse appearing half-way through the song. Her voice suits the song and gives the song a bit more appeal. The song ends with an instrumental break which makes it obvious that the song was edited for a video that will consist of a whole lot of choreography.

  The next phase of Beyoncé/Lady GaGa oversaturation will be for GaGa’s “Telephone” which will serve as the second single from The Fame Monster. That means another music video with the duo. It’s too coincidental that both of their songs have to do with phones or is it all a plan. Lord knows that this unlikely pairing is to boost sales and everything else money related.

  UPDATE: Just a short while ago “Telephone”, produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, leaked. The song was originally for Britney Spears before GaGa got a hold of it for The Fame Monster.

  An electropop song this is. It’s exactly what we thought this would sound like but at the same time it’s sort of different than we imagined. GaGa is the standout in the track just as she added the appeal in “Video Phone.” Beyoncé’s vocal style in this song isn’t exactly what we’d call complementary. The song is not amazing but it will surely have the GaGa stans going crazy and will grant both more fans.
