  The duo who went viral with their crazy dance and song, “The Jerk,” are back with their sophomore album. New Boyz latest entitled Too Cool To Care will be out this upcoming Tuesday, May 17. So we listened to the album and…

  What was cool about New Boyz, is like Soulja Boy’s “Crank That,”, “Jerk” was signature, their own. With Too Cool To Care, it’s the popularity that gave these guys a chance at a sophomore album. Don’t get us wrong, the songs are fun, sound good, and are made for the radio but they’re forgettable and could be performed by anyone else.   We like Shanell’s Shut Up N Listen mixtape n y’know R.A.P.P. Quelle’s Abstract Art Quelle’s World Vol 1 been receivin’ the constant plays. So what happens when both are blended? You get a killer remix to Shanell’s “Hear Me Calling.”

  Quelle just flows with the melody oh so complementary, guy really rides this beat. The song already has that anthem feel to it and that feeling only magnifies with a little bit of hard edge from Quelle.

  As Lil Wayne spends time away he should be proud to know that his signees are representing the label well. Shanell aka SNL released her mixtape today, Shut Up N Listen. The mixtape continues to show the talent of the pretty voiced lady. She jumps on some urban bangers, old school jams, pop alternative tunes, house beat music and more on this beattape.

  Lil Wayne’s girl, D. Woodz’s sister, SNL, whatever you want to call her, Shanell has a new song that just hit the net and we are liking it a lot. The Aaron Foster produced song is from Shanell’s mixtape Shut Up N Listen which is out Thursday.

  “Hear Me Calling” is an urban pop ballad with those epic undertones. This marks another song on the list that we like from Shanell because literally everything we’ve heard of hers or what she’s been featured in, we like. Check it out!

• Bangladesh Backs Nicki & Shanell

  “Handstand” is nothing new as it was released on Nicki Minaj’s Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape months ago. That didn’t stop the shoutless version from leaking last night.

  Bangladesh who produced Beyoncé ‘s “Diva”/Video Phone”, Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” amongst many other urban songs really keeps the DEEP bassline going for these two females. Shanell a.k.a SNL, also of Young Money, is the sister of D. Woods (formerly of Danity Kane) and has also been trying to jump start her career. She’s released the uptempo “Substitute Lova” and Electronic “Night Shift” so far.We are stans for bass so we couldn’t resist posting this song. Also, listen to “Substitute Lova” below.
