  The tracks are leaking which means Uffie’s debut, Sex, Dreams & Denim Jeans, is about to hit music outlets. The latest leak is the title track, produced by Mirwais.

  It is so great to hear how much Uffie’s music has evolved; going from being the original Ke$ha to experimenting and blending all sorts of electro beats and other little genres. Like we mentioned, we were iffy about this album of hers but after these recent leaks we are so excited, even more for this than M.I.A.’s.” Sex, Dreams…” experiments with retro rock sounds of the 60′s and 70′s; sounds like a futuristic song for the hippies. • New Uffie! “Ricky”

  The Mirwais produced “Ricky” premiered on a radio podcast the other day. The track is the last on Uffie’s debut, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans.

  We are digging this to bits. We’re gonna let you in on a little secret, this is the best song we’ve heard from this new album of hers thus far. I mean we like the other material we heard but it just wasn’t the Uffie we need to hear. The song is midtempo and has an awesome flow.

• Uffie ‘Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans’ Gets Official Release Date

  Electro club girl, Uffie, announced the official release date for her debut LP, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans. The album will be released in the U.S. on June 8 via Ed Banger Records / Because Music / Elektra.

  After having a child and a short-lived marriage to French graffiti artist André Saraiva, she recruited a topnotch crew for her upcoming release: longtime collaborators/electro house producers Mr. Oizo and Feadz, plus heavyweights like Mirwais (Madonna, Taxi Girl) and Ed Banger’s SebastiAn.

  And she has a pair of extra special guests: Pharrell Williams, who drops a verse on her single “ADD SUV,” and ex-Rapture bassist/vocalist Matt Safer, who appears on “Illusion of Love.” In addition to featuring her past releases like “Pop the Glock” and her latest single, “MCs Can Kiss,” the 14-song album also includes a cover of Siouxsie and the Banshees’ tune “Hong Kong Garden.” [SOURCE]

• Uffie Album Art + Track List Which Includes Pharrell

  After an almost 4 year wait, the debut LP of electro vocalist Uffie will hit music outlets this Spring. Yes, spring is very vague but the official album art has been released, so take a look below:

  That image above seems about right and if that album art doesn’t do enough confirmation then the track list has been released as well. Uffie’s Sex, Dreams & Denim Jeans will come packed with 13 tracks, 2 of them being containing features. We already heard the Mattie Safer feature (listen HERE) but we are dying to hear “ADD SUV” featuring Pharrell Williams. Other contributions to the album are by Feadz, Mirwais, SebAstian and Mr Oizo. • Uffie “Illusion of Love” + Responds to Ke$ha Comparisons

  A new Uffie track premiered exclusively on UK’s Radio1 Kissy Sell Out show. The track entitled “Illusion of Love” features Matt Safer and is produced by Mirwais.

  As Sean put it, “This sounds like Ray of Light by Madonna on ACID.” He didn’t lie, the song has Uffie’s signature all over it and it’s all sorts of electro goodness. Uffie is one of those vocalists that just oozes unique style. It won’t be too long before her debut album Sex, Dreams and Denim Jeans is released. Thanks to Sean!

  Also, Uffie spoke on the endless comments that current “It” girl Ke$ha was knockin’ off her music. Here’s how Uffie responded:

  “Well, I didn’t know about it until people kept saying, ‘Have you heard this girl who stole your song?’ There are definitely some similarities, but everybody is influenced by something and everyone samples stuff. I’m not saying I’m down with it, but I’m not going to talk s**t about her. What she does isn’t my kind of music, so I’m not going to pay attention to it.”

  “Yeah, there’s some guy who played them at the same time and apparently only the words are different. There’s a definite similarity there.” [Source 1] [Source 2]

  They both appeal to us in different ways so it’s all peace in our eyes.
