• Adele Tops Billboard 200 & Covers Rolling Stone

  This 21 era for Adele has turned out to a true success for the Brit with the stunning face and amazing talent. For a fourth, non-consecutive week, Adele is #1 on the Billboard 200 with her sophomore album. The Brit is also the covergirl for the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. The best quote from the entire cover story:

  “I don’t make music for eyes. I make music for ears.” [SOURCE]

  Such an amazing statement. Although the cigarette smoking must have curbed Adele’s appetite. Her weight loss is obvious in her face and you really see the nicely structured her face is. Congratulations to the lady in all black.

• Lady GaGa To Reveal 3rd LP Title on New Year’s Day, 2011

  If you thought the buzz behind Lady GaGa’s “Telephone” video was monstrous then you have not seen anything yet. GaGaDaily reported today that the once-in-a-decade Pop diamond will reveal the title of her 3rd studio album at 12:00am New Year’s Day, 2011. She will reveal the title in the form of a tattoo on an undisclosed body part. In the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, GaGa had this to say about the new single from the project:

  “That chorus came to me, like, I swear, I didn’t even write it. I think God dropped it in my lap.” [SOURCE]

  An entire 6 month wait, what will the “monsters” with the attention span of a gnat do? In all honesty, she really thinks this 3rd album is the one and she wants the full promotion circus to be there for it all. Leave it to Lady GaGa to start off the new year with herself as the main attraction. Our only gripe is, another tattoo, doesn’t she have enough already?

  Side note: When we stated once-in-a-decade Pop diamond we meant just that. It seems every decade there seems to be a defining act in Pop music; a performer that bursts onto the scene n remains there. Last decade it was Britney Spears and this decade it’s GaGa, any objections?

• Glee Kicks Off With Rolling Stone For Its Return

  The wildly popular hit series, Glee, is returning to television screens on the FOX network with a Spring premiere of Tuesday, April 13 at 9:28pm-10:30pm ET/PT immediately following American Idol. To help jumpstart the promotion wheel the cast is featured in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Great spread!

• Maroon 5 Serve Fourth Third Studio Album For 2010

  If you’re like us then you may not have enjoyed Maroon 5′s sophomore album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, nearly as much as Songs About Jane. Frontman, Adam Levine, sat down with Rolling Stone magazine for the upcoming issue where he speaks about the band’s forthcoming yet-to-be-titled album:

  

  MAROON 5′s LAST ALBUM – 2007′s double-platinum It Won’t Be Soon Before Long – wasn’t exactly a bomb, but Adam Levine says he wasn’t happy with it. “It sounded more like other people than us,” he says. To switch things up, the band traveled to Switzerland to work with legendary AC/DC and Def Leppard producer Robert “Mutt” Lange. “There’s never been a more Mutt-friendly band than us,” he says. “He’s into pop, he’s an amazing rock producer, and he pushed us – really kicked my ass.” The result: a purposely eclectic third album that borrows from Motown (“I Can’t Lie”), country music (“Out of Goodbyes”) and Amy Winehouse-style throwback soul (“Give a Little more”). “This is more like our debut,” says Levine. “We’re less interested in moving the machine and more concerned with writing music naturally.”

  The album’s purposely electic style along with the confidence behind it gives us a feeling that Maroon 5 will have a lot more people singing along to this album than their last.
