All is right in the world, since hearing news that Rye Rye debut album, Go! Pop! Bang!, will finally be released on May 15. The B’more-native puts her own spin on Tyga’s urban hit, titling hers, “Rack City Ni**a.”

✔ Britney Spears playing a seductress in a video
Update: So the image we had up was confirmed to be fake. Above, you can see a real onset image from the “H.I.A.M.” video shoot.
Above is the very first set onset image from Britney Spears’ #1 single, “Hold It Against Me,” video shoot. Longtime choreographer of Spears, Brian Friedman, promises Spears will dance her “ass off” in the Jonas Åkerlund-directed clip.
In the rumor mill, hood rapper, Gucci Mane, is claiming he will collaborate with Spears for a track on the new album.
In 2011, if you are not a fan of Kanye West then you will either become one or further despise him. The talented yet talkative artist took to his official Twitter account with some news.
WATCH THE THRONE COMING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!
MY NEW ALBUM COMING THIS SUMMER
ALL THE LIGHTS VIDEO IN 1 WEEK!!!!!!
So there you go, a new video in a week, and two albums between Spring and Summer. West most likely is capable but we doubt many media outlets will be giving near-perfect ratings across the board for his next solo studio album.
We’d been following Canadian electrofunk duo, Chromeo, but lost track just before the release of their latest album, Business Casual. A new remix to one of their songs just roped us back in. The duo enlisted La Roux for a remix of their song “Hot Mess.” The original cut is pretty nice but La Roux gives the track a mainstream appeal. The song is pretty, well, HOT. Listen below and view the video for the original after… Shouts to Proph.
A few days ago the video for Melanie Fiona’s latest single, “Ay Yo,” premiered. The single is lifted from her debut album, The Bridge, which has gathered much critical acclaim but has only managed to sell 250,000 copies in the US.
Fiona looks incredibly gorgeous in the video and puts her talent to the forefront. It’s great that labels still have faith in the talent and not the money because had this been any other artist of less talent in the genre of Pop, the promotion for the album would have been stopped by now. It’s great to see decent videos being put out.

News has been circulating the net about the video shoot of Lady GaGa’s and Beyoncé’s collaboration on the “Telephone” video [SEE HERE]. Now, we have two low quality images from the set, one of which shows off a slightly thicker Lady GaGa.
UPDATE: More photos have leaked from the set. [SOURCE] LMAO at them using what looks to be the Pussy Wagon from Kill Bill.
The music video from Leighton Meester’s “Somebody to Love” premiered yesterday. The clip, directed by Zoe Cassavetes, puts a raunchy spin on the already sensual song.
The video was shot very well. The Meester in this video is very similar to the Meester in Gossip Girl; she’s mature, wears stylish clothing and has a great amount of sex appeal. In fact the sexual chemistry between Thicke and Meester seems very real, almost too real. It always amazes us how entertainers can be so sexual with each other and think nothing of it…
The video definitely portrays Meester as mature and blasé which is a change from most of the immature and oversexed female pop singers. The song is not doing much on the charts but that isn’t a complete shock. Meester needs to learn how to maintain her sophisticated quality as well as churn out something the radio will like.
Remember just a handful of weeks ago when we brought you news of Rihanna being featured in the video for Kanye’s “Paranoid”, well here it is. As you can see someone bootlegged this video from inside an exclusive Def Jam event. From the looks of it, it doesn’t seem that Rihanna is featured on the track but is more the muse of the video.
Overall opinion: Rihanna has really grown into this lady with the ‘IT’ factor despite her shortcomings in the vocal and dancing department. She just has this alluring quality of a media starlet and as always Kanye receives our respect as an artist for always thinking outside the norm.
In the best bit of music news in awhile, news on future singles have been revealed for Kanye West. Just a day after his video for “Amazin” premiered Rihannadaily.com has confirmed that it was one of three videos he shot for 808′s & Heartbreak. The other two videos are for the singles “Robocop” and “Paranoid” but get this Paranoid was remixed to include Rihanna. Although the news was released last year that Rihanna recorded a verse for the song it wasn’t clear whether or not she would be featured on the single’s release. Well now we know she is in the song and will be featured in the video. We’re glad Rihanna is back to work but wait let me not speak so soon because I shall be tired of her again before you know it, sorry we are the A.D.D. generation. Here’s what Kanye had to say about Rihanna’s appearance on the track.
“Yep, she’s my Paranoid girl in the video,” Kanye smiled. ”She’s an amazing talent though. Collaborating with her is always a pleasure!”
As for the Robocop video, words cannot convey how excited this makes me feel. From day one I cited “Robocop” as my personal favorite from 808′s… The feature of Amber in the video is icing on the cake which convinces me that Ms. Rose must be more of a muse to Mr. West than an actual girlfriend. You know where to check when these videos premiere, alright.
