KiD CuDi keeps his fans ‘in-the-know’ via his Twitter account all the time and a short while ago he revealed some new information related to Man on the Moon: The End of Day. He confirmed his next single, the mastering of some tracks and other material to be released with the LP.

We’re really getting pumped to hear this debut from him especially since the next single will be a song we have heard nothing about. We love orchestras and we really enjoy MGMT so it seems like a win/win situation here.
Another September release artist, Mariah Carey, seemed to be having such bad luck with Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel; with rumors that she was scrambling to finish because she was trying to compete with Whitney Houston amongst the few push backs. Well now it seems she’s trying to turn matters around by re-hiring her former publicist Cindi Berger whom was fired back in 2004.
“Record release dates change all the time,” Berger confirms. “It’s nothing unusual and it doesn’t signal anything. There are a lot of moving parts to Mariah’s professional life… She’s making sure the record is how she wants it to be and it’s no big deal.”
“The first single from Mariah’s CD will not be “Obsessed”—that was just a summer trifle, and it was a lot of fun. The real first official single is said to be a powerhouse ballad along the lines of “Vision of Love.” [SOURCE]
Well it’s good that the album is not going down the drain but in all honesty she went back into the studio for this album too soon. She should have waited another year and seriously, they’re trying to write “Obsessed” off as a “buzz single”. No way, when so much emphasis was put on the song as being her OFFICIAL first single for the album. There have also been a few listening parties for the album and from most of the reviews it seems to be very similar to E=MC² which is not that good.
