We’re late on this but the May ’09 issue of Vogue magazine created waves this past Monday. For one main reason, the issue is dedicated to models, no celebrities just models. That’s a rarity to fill a fashion publication with nothing but models. From left to right the magazine cover includes: Liya Kebede, Natalia Vodianova, Anna Jagodzinska, Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone, Jourdan Dunn, Raquel Zimmermann, Caroline Trentini and Natasha Poly. Damn! these are some good lookin’ girls, some a bit too photoshopped, but beautiful nonetheless. Give me a night with Jourdan or Natasha and I’ll be alright.
There are a few oddities about the cover though, if it’s titled “Faces of the Moment” then why are Liya and Natalia on the cover they’re basically retired icons in the business. Also, a bit more diversity would have gone far, especially with some Asians. All races are beautiful, if you’re physically attractive then you’re physically attractive no question about it. LOL and how ironic is it that it’s the U.S. edition of the magazine and not a single American model made the cover.
