We haven’t had any music mash-up greatness around here for awhile. This new one is a mash-up of Kylie Minogue’s “Get Outta My Way” and Britney Spears’ “3″ + “Hold It Against Me.” The mash-up was put together by Daniel Solis. Isn’t that something, the instrumental for “Get Outta My Way” fits the acapella of “Hold It Against Me” almost better than the original does. Take a listen below.
Kylie & Co. enlisted AlexandLiane to direct the video for her second single off Aphrodite, “Get Outta My Way.”
The video just smacks you in the face with enticing visuals. Lighting, fashion and simplicity are the three main factors behind this video and it’s those three main components that make this video one heck of a piece stylized art. Everything looks perfect and Kylie looks like, well, a goddess. Check the video out below.
We always knew the song “Locomotion” but did not know the pop star Kylie Minogue until she gained US success during the Fever era. The interest cooled down during the Body Language phase then the hype resurfaced with her tenth album, simply titled X. Whilst the album had some major highs it was inconsistent and didn’t reach Fever’s heights. Fast forward three years and her brand new single “All the Lovers” with the over-the-top Aphrodite theme hit the net. Without a second thought Minogue had the interest back to a Fever standard.
Yesterday, the album leaked. The megamix and album snippets left an air of AMAZING throughout. A big obstacle with previews is they either surpass the full album or fail to show off just how great it is. In Aphrodite’s case, it’s the latter. From beginning to end the album is pure MAGIC. Minogue and her team literally knocked each track out of the park. Well there may be a track or two that do not deserve two thumbs up but it really does not affect the listening experience. With such gems as “Too Much,” “All the Lovers,” “Illusion,” “Aphrodite” and basically the rest of the album, Kylie Minogue has released what will probably one of the top Pop albums of 2010.

So by now you Kylie Minogue fans should have heard the megamix and album sampler of Aphrodite. The album is “blippin’” amazing, all uptempos, perfect for the summer and all things fun. Amongst all those gems there is one that shines just a little more than the rest. We’re speaking about “Too Much.”
“Too Much” is the Jake Shears and Calvin Harris contribution of the album. Do you hear how that snippet starts off? The song is nothing but sheer euphoria. It’s funny because quite a few who have listened to this snippet thinks this is the worst song. How odd, some think it’s one of the best if not the best and others think it’s just horrible. *Taps foot uncontrollably until the full version arrives* Listen below!

Ever since the “announcement” of this new project of Kylie Minogue project, Aphrodite, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the full HQ version of the new single, “All The Lovers,” to premiere. Well, the Jim Eliot lead single is finally here. So, does this song meet the energy of the 30 second snippet?
YES it does and we now understand why this was chosen as the lead single despite being recorded at the last minute. Eliot’s euphoric synths are all over this track and the burst of disco energy is present throughout. Kylie Minogue is sticking to what she does best and that’s creating an uptempo electropop song that only the Eastern part of the world will truly appreciate.

Kylie is touching down very soon with a new single and album to match. The Popstar is set to release her new single, “All the Lovers,” on June 28 and her new album, Aphrodite, on July 5.
From the snippet Minogue sounds like she has a winner with the futuristic-disco track. Aside from that good news, the album’s title and image concept is a bit corny.
Today, 3 unreleased demos that were recorded for Kylie Minogue’s X leaked today. The mega popstar (everywhere except in the US) will be releasing a new album this year so her label probably wanted to start the buzz early. The three leaks, “My Love Is Real,” Extraordinary Day” and “Come Down” are all a bit different from one another.
“My Love Is Real,” which is our favorite of the three is on some sort of other level of electro-funk. This is a sound that would sound so great on Christina’s Bionic or even better, Janet Jackson would murder this production.

Our second fave of the bunch, “Extraordinary Day,” is a synth drenched ballad. The melody is oh so nice and would have sounded great on the album if mastered.

Lastly, “Come Down” vaguely channels that Middle Eastern flavor and is an alright song but it would not have fit with the rest of X.
