• WZRD (Dot Da Genius & KiD CuDi) Premiere “Brake”

  It’s been over three years since we were introduced to KiD CuDi’s music. We broke away from the fandom of CuDi but still find interest in his latest projects. CuDi is teaming up with his longtime producer friend, Dot Da Genius, to release WZRD on January 30, 2012 (CuDi’s birthday). The first track from the project premiered last night.

  WZRD will be a profanity-free rock infused album. From the sound of the first single, “Brake” is just that. Both Dot n CuDi are behind the productions this round.

  CuDi stated, “WZRD is bringin Punk Rock back with a whole new energy and sound.” CuDi has long left the position of being a mainstream artist with an alternative appeal to just an artist, all about the music and not worried about the charts. This one is definitely a grower. Listen after…

• Seal, Ely Jackson, KiD CuDi and More Appear On ‘Watch The Throne”

  When the official tracklist was made available for Jay-Z’s and Kanye West’s collaborative project, Watch The Throne, only features from Mr. Hudson, Frank Ocean and Beyoncé were shown. That’s changed now that DDotOmen.com has revealed the album’s credits for each song.

  In addition to those three artists: Seal, La Roux’s Ely Jackson, Charlie Wilson, Pete Rock, KiD CuDi and a slew of other talented individuals make up make up the vocal roster of the highly-anticipated LP. Read on for the Deluxe track list as well as the production credits.

• KiD CuDi To Release Rock Album + New Mixtape

  KiD CuDi has released music projects every year since 2008 and 2011 will be another year to add to the list. KiD CuDi, who was absent from the network of Twitter since September of 2009 has rejoined under the name @Wizardcud. He used the network to update his fans on his upcoming projects. The first is a new Rock genre album entitled Wizard, produced by Dot Da Genius. The second will be a Hip-Hop mixtape entitled A Man Named Scott. The third will be his involvement in Kanye West’s and Jay-Z’s Watch the Throne album. Moving across to the realm of telelvision, CuDi will be shooting the second season of HBO’s “How To Make It In America.”

  Pushing for a summer release of the ‘Wizard’ album. I produce and play guitar on everything with my main man @dotdagenius, he’s learnin bass. The ‘Maniac’ film will be released later this year. Cage, Shia [Le Bouf] and I really want everything just right, and I need the proper time for scoring. ‘Wizard’ is a rock album, no raps, just singing…brand new thing, flavor. Workin on some Jay and Ye shit, new mixtape ‘A Man Named Scott” that’s this summah for all those who fucks with my raps, this is for u since ima be all rocked out with the ‘Wizard’ shit.   T.I.’s No Mercy will hit music outlets on December 7. The tracks are leaking one by one with the latest leak being the Kanye West & KiD CuDi-featured “Welcome To the World.”

  This is definitely one of the better cuts to leak from the album. The No I.D.-produced track offers the greatness of three of today’s best emcees. Laced with a cool piano melody, hi-hats and drums, this song is pumpin’.

  Loved this song from the messy snippet that only featured Drake a month or two ago and to hear the drums in clearer quality gives us an overwhelming feeling of greatness. There is too much going on in this song but y’know what it doesn’t matter because the only thing we’re being drowned in is a feeling of POWER.

• New Kanye G.O.O.D. Friday + ‘M.B.D.T.F.’ Updated Tracklist

  Another weekend is here and with that is another G.O.O.D. Friday track from Kanye West & Co. This new one entitled “The Joy” features Jay-Z, Pete Rock, Charlie Wilson, Curtis Mayfield and KiD CuDi. No official word yet but this may appear on the Watch the Throne album. The song is pretty smooth, sampling an old school soul “to-do.” Also, notice the nude Pam Grier image; it gives you an idea of what the song will sound like. Take a listen below.

• Epic or Oversaturated? Kanye West Enlists 11 Features For 3rd Single

  Based on the handful of features in Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Friday releases it was no surprise when news broke of West collaborating with 11 people for his third single. “All Of the Lights” which is the third single from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, out November 22, will feature:

  Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Elton John, Fergie, John Legend, The-Dream, Tony Williams, KiD CuDi, Charlie Wilson, Ryan Leslie, and La Roux’s Elly Jackson. [SOURCE]

  With so many people on one track, West had to truncate each of the verses for the “completely seamless and completely ghetto as f**k” single. We only have to wait until Saturday 8pm EST to hear the single. It will be played during the premiere of Kanye West’s 30-minute “Runaway” video which will air simultaneously across MTV, VH1 and BET.

• Video Premiere: KiD CuDi “Erase Me” Feat. Kanye West

  KiD CuDi’s video for the Jason Goldwatch-directed “Earse Me,” featuring Kanye West, just premiered. The video also features the quirky and funny Christopher Mintz-Plasse . The video is 70′s all over with the ‘fro and bell bottoms but Kanye West… You don’t think Kanye West couldn’t at least try to get into the theme by dressing in some complementary threads. It’s almost as if he was too busy to be in the video in the first place. Anyway, it’s CuDi and West plus we love the song and video.

  Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager receives an official release date of November 9, 2010.
