Last year, 2010, Ke$ha released the surplus of an album to Animal entitled Cannibal. Ke$ha stepped outside of her Dance-Pop sound for three minutes and twenty six seconds and what a good time that was. It was producer Bangladesh and artist Andre 3000 who helped to deliver the super great “Sleazy.” Now, a little over a year, someone in Ke$ha’s camp realized how great this song is and decided to release this. But instead of releasing the original track the current version has been chalked up with new verses from your favorite rappers.
T.I., Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa and of course Andre 3000 hop on the remix of the urban bass banga. Not that it needed the assistance but we’re sure these features will give the single a whole new life and give it a push on the charts. Plus, this has reignited the interest in Ke$ha just in time for her sophomore, due in Spring of 2012. Oh, check T.I.’s flow… (more…)
The full track of Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends” is here. The Dr. Luke-produced and Ke$ha-penned track will serve as the second Femme Fatale single.
This track has radio smash written all over but it doesn’t have our knees shaking with thrill. Sure, it’s upbeat and for the clubs but nothing extraordinary. As with most Spears’ tunes, it’s great but what we’re wondering is how many of the songs on Femme Fatale will grip us and keep us interested for more than one month.

*Rub eyes, clear ears* Wait, are our eyes and ears are deceiving us. The other day when we saw this we could not believe Andre 3000 dropped a verse on Ke$ha’s “Sleazy.” We thought it was a copy-and-paste from another one of ‘Dre’s songs. Don’t get us wrong, we support Ke$ha but her music is not on that…
No matter how you try to analyze this situation you just cannot deny the flawless nature of “Sleazy.” The production is funky perfection, the lyrics are so tongue-in-cheek so it’s only natural that 3000 would hop on this.
Across the way, over by The Prophet Blog, there seems to be a great possibility that the Andre 3000-assisted remix will end up as a single for the Garbage-chic-chick.
This time of year is the best for partying and celebrating but as far as blogging, not so much. However, there is one thing to look forward to during this time. This would be the incredible United State of Pop mash-up by DJ Earworm, this year entitled as “Don’t Stop the Pop.” The mash-up blends the top 25 hits of the Billboard Hot 100.
This year’s mash-up includes Ke$ha‘s “Tik Tok,” Bruno Mars‘ “Just the Way You Are,” Travie McCoy‘s “Billionaire” featuring Bruno Mars, B.o.B‘s “Nothin’ On You” featuring Bruno Mars and “Airplanes” featuring Hayley Williams, Lady GaGa‘s “Bad Romance” and Telephone featuring Beyoncé, Rihanna‘s “Rude Boy,” Eminem‘s “Not Afraid” and “Love the Way You Lie” featuring “Rihanna,” Taio Cruz‘s “Break Your Heart” featuring Ludacris and “Dynamite,” Enrique Iglesias‘ “I Like It” featuring Pitbull, Katy Perry‘s “California Gurls” featuring Snoop Dogg and “Teenage Dream,” Mike Posner‘s “Cooler Than Me,” Black Eyed Peas‘ “Rock That Body” and “Imma Be,” Young Money‘s “Bedrock,” Iyaz‘s “Replay,” Lady Antebellum‘s “Need You Now,” Usher “OMG” featuring Will.i.am and “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” featuring Pitbull, Train “Hey, Soul Sister” and Jay-Z “Empire State of Mind” featuring Alicia Keys.
After two listens it’s obvious that the made-for-radio hits of 2010 focused on melodies. This isn’t Earworm’s best to date; the songs of 2010 allowed for pretty beats but they all don’t perfectly blend together. Despite that, Earworm’s 2010 effort has us reliving all the fun energy of 2010 in a little over 5 minutes.
In other news, those of you who are aged 13-17 and will be spending you New Year’s here, in The Bahamas, can check out DJ Earworm at Club Rush, at the Atlantis Resort, listen below.
Ke$ha just dropped the video for her Hype Willaims-directed video for “We Who We R.” It’s funny how Hype got an honorary award at the 2006 MTV VMA’s and now his most recent work could put him under the title of a joke. This is exactly what happened to Ke$ha. Although not as bad as Mariah Carey’s “I Want To Know What Love Is,” this video still… Just see for yourselves, below.
Ke$ha was one of the last performers of the night at the 2010 American Music Awards as she did a two song set. Talk about auto-tune, her “Take It Off” portion of the performance was drowned in auto-tune unlike the original. Ke$ha then became all liberated as she rocked the infectious “We R Who We R.” We like Ke$ha so we enjoyed the performance but the “dislikers” will stay that way after this performance.
Ke$ha’s Cannibal will be here on November 22 and from the project another promo single leaked. The new track is entitled “Blow” and will be another tune to play in the club.
Where have we heard those gritty synths before? Oh well, all we know is the song is pretty decent but is the least interesting cut to leak from Cannibal. There is no clever tongue-in-cheek lyrics or some fresh production; we’ve heard this all before. Take a listen below.

Ke$ha’s supplement album, Cannibal, is already off to a great start as the first single, “We R Who We R,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. With that bit of good news, another promo single off of Cannibal was released through iTunes Australia earlier today. The newest release is the title track, “Cannibal.”
In “Cannibal,” Ke$ha sticks with her signature rap/sing style over a boppy bassline intro that is very much House, Pop and tribal. The song has ditty and catchy-as-hell one liners, as usual, and if released to radio, should guarantee the dirty one another smash hit.

Above, you can see the album cover for the Ke$ha’s Cannibal. Well doesn’t she look demonic? She looks like Linda Blair from The Exorcist. Cannibal will be in stores on November 22.
Scratch October 25 as “We R Who We R,” the first single from Ke$ha’s upcoming re-release entitled Cannibal, premiered earlier today on Z100. Cannibal which will be sold on its own as well a deluxe edition, paired with Animal, will include 8 new songs and 1 new remix. Think Lady GaGa’s The Fame + The Fame Monster and Usher’s Raymond vs. Raymond + Versus.
As for the new Dr. Luke-produced single… We were hoping for the Bangladesh contribution to the project but what we got is the ever-popular Electropop sound that has oversaturated the radio waves of Top 40 stations. The song is a hit, no doubting that, but Ke$ha has fallen inline after being ahead of the pack. Think Taio Cruz, Katy Perry, Pitbull, Usher, oh hell, just think of basically every electropop radio hit within the past six months and you’ve got “We R Who We R.” Innovative is the complete opposite of what this song is, but hey, this is just a supplement to Animal so a complementary sound is most appropriate. Hot 100, you better listen out for this future smash.
