  Delay after delay, the fan boys and girls are happy that Destiny’s Child alumna, Kelly Rowland will finally release her third studio album on July 26, 2011 via Universal Motown. Thanks in large part to her urban radio hit, “Motivation,” featuring Lil Wayne Here I Am is finally seeing the light of day.

  The catchy second single, “Lay It On Me,” featuring Big Sean hasn’t heated up the charts just yet but that’s not hindering anything. The snippets from the standard edition of the album are now available. After a listen to the snippets all the album follows in the same vain as “Motivation”: catchy urban tracks for the radio and clubs. Take a listen when you follow the link…

• Video Premiere: Nelly “Gone” Feat. Kelly Rowland

  Nine years later and Kelly Rowland and Nelly are an on-screen couple once again in the Marc Klasfeld-directed video for Nelly’s “Gone.”

  The couple are set in Cancun, Mexico, perfect for Spring Break… A decent video for a decent song.

• Kelly Rowland Releases New Single, “Motivation,” Featuring Lil Wayne

  Remember back in 2009 when Kelly Rowland showed signs of being a major Pop force within the music industry? Well a handful of pushbacks and generic releases later, Rowland is still pushing for a new album release. She’s taking a backflip to her urban sound by enlisting Lil Wayne and producer Jim Jonsin for the supposed first single, “Motivation.”

  Maybe Rowland did get the right motivation ’cause the song is not half bad. It’s a nice midtempo track that is worthy of multiple listens but certainly is nothing to be a Billboard Hot 100 top 10 contender.

• Video Premiere: Kelly Rowland “Forever and a Day”

  The pretty lady with the amazing body, Kelly Rowland, just dropped another video for a song off of her album to be released in 2011. The song, “Forever and a Day,” still has not leaked in CDQ but that’s alright, the song is another one of those David Guetta-produced you cannot pull yourself away from.

  The video is summer themed which complements the song but besides the fun clips, the video is just another video. They did borrow Apple’s interface for its media devices for a little effect. The single and video are meant for the UK but it makes no sense why this song is not for the US as well. We thought Rowland dropping Knowles as her manager would give her that shine but she might as well have stayed with him: CATASTROPHE.

• Video Premiere: Kelly Rowland “Rose Colored Glasses”

  Kelly Rowland & co. just released the Rankin-directed video for “Rose Colored Glasses.” The single is lifted from Rowland’s forever-untitled album which got the push into next year.

  The video is pretty neat; there is not much besides a lot of eye-catching visuals. What started out  sure path into making Rowland into an international has fallen through. From a dance track with David Guetta (“When Love Takes Over”) to the most generic singles with the exception of “Forever and a Day,” it seems the flame that was burning to ignite Rowland into an international Pop figure may have already disappeared.

• Tinie Tempah & Kelly Rowland Are “Invincible”

  UK rapper Tinie Tempah is looking to score a hit on the charts with his upcoming studio album, Disc-Overy, out September 27 in the UK. The rapper is making his sound a little less grimey being backed by a nice melody and having the vocal stylings of Kelly Rowland in a song entitled “Invincible.”

  The track is definitely what “they’re” listening to in the UK. The melody goes hard and for a Hip-Pop song, there still is an uplifting feeling. It’s obvious the UK can’t get enough of Ms. Rowland and she can at least count on her album doing really well there.

• New Music: Kelly Rowland Goes “On & On”

  The other week, a snippet of a song from Kelly Rowland’s upcoming album leaked and we were HOOKED. The snippet was entitled as “The Sound (On & On)” and was wrongfully listed as being produced by David Guetta. Well the full song has surfaced, “On & On,” and Brian Kennedy is the track’s producer.

  Our opinion pretty much remains the same, this song is one nice uptempo electro/dance/pop tune. HOWEVER, the song catches you off guard in certain areas as the pitch loses its consistency, or just doesn’t flow as smoothly as it should. Besides those little faults, this song makes us pretty excited about Rowland’s album.

• Kelly & Nelly… Dilemma Part II

  Thanks to an in studio session, Ustream viewers got a taste of what is to be the sequel to the 2002 hit single, “Dilemma”, performed by Kelly Rowland and Nelly. For those of you who do not remember, this song killed the radio and even earned the duo a Grammy. The single which will probably be released in early 2010 is entitled “Gone (Dilemma Part II)” and is written by Rico Love. It is unclear whether or not this will make Kelly’s or Nelly’s new album but will most likely be for Nelly’s new album.

  NOSTALGIA! HELL flickin yes; take us into the past Kelly and Nelly. From the sound of the song, we will have it on repeat when the studio version leaks. It is similar to the original but still sounds updated and refreshed. This is the some of the most exciting news we’ve seen within the last week and a half. GET INTO IT!

• Video Premiere: 50 Cent “Baby by Me” feat. Ne-Yo

  The video premiere of Fiddy’s “Baby by Me” featuring Ne-Yo premiered this morning. The new single and video is taken from 50′s Before I Self Destruct which got bumped up to a November 16 release date because of the early leak. The video also stars Kelly Rowland as the leading the lady.

  We’ve been a fan of the Polow Da Don produced track for awhile now and the video serves it’s purpose. Ne-Yo is secluded to a black backdrop singing his bit as the rest of the video follows 50 and Kelly’s romance, not bad.

  We do not even know why people bother to mention why 50 isn’t as big as he was. Remember the manufactured “beef” in 2007 between his Curtis and West’s Graduation. He said and we quote, “If Kanye wins I’ll quit making music…” Kanye won and that was that. You do not go running off at the mouth and expect things to be different, even a few years later.

• News to Ponder: Destiny’s Child to Reunite for 2010?

  This past Sunday whilst perusing the web we came across some information about Destiny’s Child reuniting for 2010. We decided not to post at the quoted statement from Michelle Williams  because it did not specifically state that the rumor was true. That and there were other reports from earlier this year about the group reuniting which were very vague. This morning Contact Music reported this new information… So let the Destiny’s Child comeback commence.
  

  Destiny’s Child are reuniting.

  The sexy R’n'B trio – consisting of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams – are planning to get back together in 2010.

  Michelle told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “It definitely will happen. We’re sisters, we love each other and we want to work on the future of Destiny’s Child.”

  The ‘Survivor’ hitmakers split in 2005 to pursue solo careers.

  Rumours they were reforming began circulating earlier this month, when it was revealed they were contractually obliged to produce another album.

  A source said: “They still have another album they owe their label, Columbia Records, on their contract.”

  The trio will reportedly head back into the studio to record their new album when ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)’ singer Beyonce finishes her current tour to promote her latest solo album ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’. [SOURCE]

  No, no and NO! If this is in fact true then the timing is too close together. Kelly Rowland is in plans to release her third studio after her newfound superstar status over in Europe and well Beyoncé, let’s just say overexposure is an understatement at the moment. The only person this would benefit is Williams who has yet to be recognized as a solo artist and not that third member of Destiny’s Child. Give it until 2011 or 2012 after they’ve all had a break from the public eye but that will not be happening because Ms. Knowles-Carter has to keep that perpetual money making machine in tip-top shape.

  UPDATE: It was indeed a rumor. Michelle Williams confirmed:

  “I never said DC is getting back together. Just bcuz I said we love each other and are sisters….they took that quote and ran with it! Sorry “
