Check out the Vincent Haycock-directed (co-directed by AG Rojas) video for Calvin Harris’ “Bounce” video featuring Kelis. The video revolves around some nonchalant dude running through Vegas. Kelis appearance is more of a cameo as the anonymous guy crashes the set of her filming a music video, pretty neat video.
Scottish singer-songwriter Calvin Harris is amping up the music for his forthcoming album. The first single from the project, out this summer, is an uptempo Electro fest. entitled “Bounce,” featuring Kelis.
Lookout for the video for the single next month. The tune is definitely an instant club banger.

Happy 4th of July to you all. Just in time for today and the American release of Kelis’ Flesh Tone, out on Tuesday, a bonus track entitled “Carefree American” makes its way online.
A frequent collaborator of Kelis’ as of late, Jean Baptise, is on production duties in this song. here’s what kelis had to say about the song:
“It’s kinda like the back and forth between what we know that’s wrong with Americans and being in America, yet the things we love about it,” she continues, “and at the end of the day we don’t really sacrifice that much. I put myself in it as well; we are Americans and we like everything super-sized.” [SOURCE]
Yup, the song is EVERYTHING that is wrong with America but yet so appealing about that nation. It’s the freedom in America that overtime makes the masses nonchalant and oblvious to most things international and immune to common sense. The song is a great addition and is definitely appropriate for the region it’s being released in but Flesh Tone’s tracklist is seriously too short.

The premiere of Benny Benassi’s “Spaceship” featuring Kelis, Apl.de.ap & Jean-Baptiste has finally hit the net.
Beny Benassi & co. take you on an outer space ride which ends up the crew landing on a planet. From there on the viewer is treated some amazing lighting effects and great neat CGI. The theme overall, complements the song so nicely.
For awhile now, Benny Benassi’s lastest single, “Spaceship,” has been floating around on the net with behind-the-scenes images following shortly after. Now there is finally video footage of a behind-the-scenes look at the video.
The video looks very “Fifth Elementesque,” to say the least and is being released through RayKay productions. The track has been getting fair play on our iTunes and if you have not listened to the single yet…:
‘Spaceship’ maintains the Benassi signature sound and adds a pop tinge which is laced with sultry vocals from globally renowned singer, Kelis, who recently released her gorgeous hit single ‘Acapella’. Together, Benassi and Kelis debuted the track at this year’s Ultra Music Festival in front of a record-breaking, sold-out crowd. Also collaborating on the single are Black Eyed Peas’ member, apl.de.ap and producer Jean-Baptiste, both of whom contribute incredible rhymes and vocal styling to the record.

Sweden’s own Robyn released the Max Vitali-directed video for her first single from Body Talk Pt. 1, “Dancing On My Own.”
One who hardly ever disappoints, Robyn and her crew concoct a video so befitting of the single; the way the club scenes were shot just fits the song like a glove. Oh and if you like that wall setup in the video you can expect to see something very similar when both Robyn and Kelis team up for the All Hearts tour.
You also know what that means, there will be a Kelis and Robyn collaboration in the works. Robyn knew exactly what she was doing by releasing three smaller albums throughout the year. Anyway, if the two do collaborate we’re sure it’ll be epic.
Kelis’ latest album, Fleshtone, is about to be released in the UK on May 17 and later elsewhere. The “Intro” to the whole album has leaked.
WAH WAH WOW, this definitely kicks this album into gear in exactly the right way. It is A LOT less dance than the other songs on the album. It is still electro but a lot darker and her vocal style is very haunting; it sounds like something from Gorillaz latest album, WE LOVE IT! This song is on repeat, “WE CONTROL THE DANCEFLOOR.” Thanks Max!

Kelis performed a 10-song set which highlighted some of her best work, including new tracks from her forthcoming album, ‘Flesh Tone’, due out July 6. It’s no secret Kelis’ sound has changed over the years, but one thing is for sure: Kelis is an innovator and artist who will always bring something “young, fresh and new” to the table.
Not just known for the tunes she sings, but also for her intriguing sense of style, Kelis, wore a white lace bodysuit, with a glimmering headpiece, long fringed cape and her hair in a braided ponytail.

This song just has a vibe to it that makes us want to move forward in time. Like we said before, you either love Kelis or hate her and we have nothing but love for her because she is going against the norm and making real dance music.
