• Drake, Avril, Furtado + More Canadians Cover K’Naan’s “Wavin’ Flag” For Haiti

  The Americans redid “We Are the World” for Haiti and the British covered R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts” so now the Canadians are making their own musical contribution to Haiti. Somali musician K’Naan has made quite an impact with his uplifting song “Wavin’ Flag” as it is the this 2010 theme song for the Fifa World Cup and now Canada’s choice for a song for Haiti.

  Nelly Furtado, Drake, Kardinal Offishall, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Fefe Dobson amongst many other Canadian artists sing and rap their hearts out for this international tune. From Drake’s solo rap verse and on, this song just gets to us.

  We’ve been following K’Naan ever since we heard “In the Beginning” on the Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay soundtrack. It’s a good feeling when all types of people can get into the same song, INTERNATIONAL: chills. Listen to the Canadian collab of “Wavin’ Flag” after…

• It Was Only a Matter Of Time: Justin Bieber Will Come to The Bahamas

  We all know that if there is a Pop act for the children then the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island will recruit them for a concert. Well that will be the case as Justin Bieber will be in the country on June 12 for one of those concerts.

  Bieber’s label takes a page out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and is giving away 4 Golden Tickets to spend an all expense paid weekend with him in The Bahamas in June. The 4 Golden Tickets will be placed in Bieber’s My World 2.0 LP which hits stores on March 23. Good luck!

  For all you locals, we’re pretty sure the resort will be selling tickets to the event, probably $100-$200 a pop.

  Young man who seems to have all the tweens and teens in a frenzy has his second single ready for launch. Justin Bieber’s second single will be the Bryan Michael Cox produced & Johntá Austin written “Never Let You Go.” The single is lifted from My World 2.0, out on March 23, 2010.

  Bieber reminds us so much of the late 90′s when mainstream manufactured pop ruled the scene. He receives so much flack for his “generic” music. Well it doesn’t bother us as much, yet. Besides we like the way he wears humility with the arrival of his bullet speed popularity.

  Justin Bieber has certainly grown on us, well S always liked him… His music may be a bit juvenile but catchy nonetheless. Here’s another new song from lil man.

  “Pick Me” is another puppy love affair with Bieber vying for the heart of his sweetheart. Bieber gets us with his “woo-ooo-woo-woo-yea,” we’re like get ‘em Bieber. If Bieber keeps some hot production on all of his new tracks, then no complaints, well maybe.
