  Shakira is on the promo trail by being the covergirl for yet another magazine. The sexy Columbian is pure eye-candy on the November 2009 issue of i-D magazine. She also sits down with the magazine for an interview in which she discusses many topics including her changing views on life standards. Read below:

  On her video for She Wolf:
  I wanted to express my vision, I wanted to articulate with images what I feel the song relates to, what it symbolizes. The golden cage that I’m in is a metaphor, because I feel like I’ve been inside a golden cage in my life for many years, with the anticipation of an animal wanting to get out. When I got into that cage for the first time for the shoot, I feel like I went completely unconsciousness at that moment. They hit ‘play’, the music started and at that moment I stared hanging from the bars upside down… the whole performance in that cage is an improvisation. I felt somehow possessed by the spirit of the She Wolf. The She Wolf that has been inside of me all these years, longing to come out. I feel much more like a woman today. I feel more inclined to certain things, to express myself in certain ways and to talk about things with less prudence.

  On whether she would ever pose nude:
  No, I don’t want to, I don’t need to, I don’t feel the need, I don’t think I could do it. I couldn’t be nude. Maybe when I’m 40 and I have another change of mind. (more…)

• i-D: Thriller

  Just the other day the September 2009 issue of i-D magazine was revealed with models Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez, Chanel Iman and Arlenis Sosa on the cover. Yesterday the behind-the-scenes video showed up on the magazine’s website and today the editorial “Thriller” found its way into the forums. • The ‘Fashtastic’ Four

  Models Chanel Iman, Sessilee Lopez, Jourdan Dunn and Arlenis Sosa (pictured left to right) cover the September 2009 issue of i-D magazine. A few months ago via twitter both Chanel and Sessilee tweeted about a photoshoot from London of epic proportions. Well here it is; the top 4 black models in the industry posing closely together wearing all black against a colorful graffiti background. It’s beautiful that their skin tones are black but behind those tones are multiple nationalities and ethnicites; American, Korean, Portuguese Dominican and British.
