Lady GaGa & Co. know what it is to market a high profile album in these current times. Releasing promo tracks in advance via iTunes is common but doing so through Facebook? Yup, the Pop artiste is using the ever so popular virtual world of Farmville as a platform for her Born This Way album. GaGa will be releasing three more songs from the album via Farmville and the first to be released is “Marry The Night.”
This album is not shaping up to be THE album of our generation but it is certainly shaping up to be a sonically appealing album. “Marry The Night” is another heavily produced Pop anthem… LOUD. Check melody because that’s all GaGa is giving us this era. The theme of freedom still reigns with GaGa. However, there is a different feeling when listening to GaGa’s tunes these days. She’s steadily venturing into a different direction in music. You listen and look at the GaGa of today, compared to almost three years ago and there is definitely a difference.
