• Deluxe: Beyoncé Records “Career Defining” Song, Samples R&B + Hip-Hop Classics On ’4′

  It’s about three weeks until the release of Beyoncé’s 4 along with her Glastonbury headlining gig. After a not so great start with “Run The World (Girls),” the album is looking up.

  Famous songwriter, Diane Warren, has apparently penned the “career song” for Beyoncé. The humble Warren surprisingly boasts about the track entitled “I Was Here,” calling it “the best thing I’ve ever written.” The song’s producer was recently revealed as Ryan Tedder. “Halo” was a standout on the I Am… album so we’re expecting something greater than mediocre.

  The highly anticipated “Party” featuring Andre 3000 is stated as sampling Slick Rick‘s and Doug E. Fresh‘s “La Di Da Di.” Beyoncé has a thing this go round for sampling singers of decades past as track nine, “Countdown,” supposedly samples Boyz II Men’s “Uhh Ahh.”

  Not to worry, Beyoncé is in tune with the younger talents as the material submitted by Frank Ocean and Ester Dean will make the album. The Deluxe Edition’s tracks have been revealed, check them out after…

  After years of waiting, the time has come for Dr. Dre to return to music scene and claim the real urban side of Hip-Hop. In a very recent interview Dre stated Detox will in fact be released this year, even if it seems too good to be true. Then later on news that the first single, “Under Pressure,” featuring Jay-Z, with the hook written by Ester Dean, will blow through the blogs this Friday.

  First off, we’re hyped up to the ceiling right now, secondly, a club banga will be great for the summer season to come and thirdly, congratulations to Ester Dean who seems to be writing for all the huge artists. Watch the interview after…

  Christina Aguilera premiered “Not Myself Tonight” over on her radio station and let us say we apologize for all of our skepticism because this song is BLAZIN’. We’re so into this song right now so we’ll steal borrow Proph’s words on the single:

  Produced by Polow Da Don and penned by Ester Dean, “Not Myself Tonight” is literally the club banger to end all club bangers. The song takes all the best parts from 90’s house music, urban beats and electro, and mixes them all together to create something cutting edge and fresh that’ll sound at home, in the club, the car, the radio and about every other place you can possibly imagine playing it.

  I can definitely hear elements of Lady GaGa in this, as well as a lot of Britney and some of Janet’s “Feedback”, but “Not Myself Tonight” is like GaGa on steroids and then multiplied. Christina does put her own stamp on the song though, mainly thanks to her powerhouse vocals which are often imitated but never duplicated.

  It almost seems surreal that we’re hearing music from Aguilera’s Bionic album. Today, an 18 second preview of the Polow Da Don produced and Ester Dean written single, “Not Myself Tonight,” was unveiled.

  After hearing the snippet we would rather wait and hear the full tune at once because it sounds like a regular club banger. We’re expecting so much more from this album.

• So This Is What Beyoncé Will Sound Like On the Jeezy Track

  Ester Dean is on a roll with many writing credits, most notably Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” and Christina Aguilera’s upcoming “Not Myself Tonight.” Now she’s co-writing on Young Jeezy’s first single from the rapper’s fourth studio album, Thug Motivation 103. The single is entitled “Mama Told Me” and Dean is singing in place of Beyoncé for a demo cut.

  We smell a radio hit for Jeezy. The radio and the public just eat up these hard rappers’ songs with a soft hook. Beyoncé alone will aid in making it possible. Jeezy is great on his own anyway so the combination of the two will take this Middle-Eastern shaded song to a higher level.

  Another leak from the upcoming Usher project, “Guilty,” featuring T.I. and produced by Ester Dean hit the net earlier today.

  We cannot put our finger on it but Ester Dean definitely has a signature style; every song that she’s behind has that recognizable sound. The song has a light vibe with even T.I.’s lyrics being less than Parental Advisory. It’s a cool little track.

  In other new pertaining to Ester Dean, a tweet went out the other night that she and singer/songwriter Claude Kelly finished a song for Christina Aguilera’s Bionic.

  Well, within the past few days Chris Brown is receiving as much publicity for the amount of new music leaking from him as he was getting for the incident. Most of it has been mediocre at its best.
  Fortunately a song that is a few notches above mediocre has leaked but it actually belongs to Ester Dean with him being a feature. “Drop It Low” is Ester’s first single and is produced by Polow Da Don.

  Instant Banga! Like Bangladesh, Polow Da Don is known for deep basslines in his urban productions and well we love it. This will be perfect for a club setting and definitely for urban radio. “Drop, drop it low” and press play.
