Isabella Summers, of Florence + The Machine gave UK radio listeners a taste of her remix to Beyoncé’s “Countdown” last year November. Since then, fans of the mix have been holding on in hopes that a full studio version would be released. After five months of waiting many can rest easy as you can now listen to the song in its entirety.

Beyoncé just dropped another video, this time for the very rhythmic and sensual “Dance For You.” The song is lifted from the Deluxe Edition of 4 and reminds us very much of Destiny’s… “Cater 2 U.”

Just days before Beyoncé announced her pregnancy, which to this day has caused controversy, she performed in front of 4 sold out crowds at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. A few months later and now the workaholic is releasing Live at Roseland: Elements of 4.
Attending the premiere last night, showing off the baby bump, Beyoncé held a screening for a fortunate audience. Well they’re not the only fortunate ones as VEVO has partnered with Beyoncé to allow viewers to watch the entire DVD for free. The concert is very similar to the shows Beyonce did in Vegas some two years ago; the same rigmarole of storytelling whilst performing songs from her back catalogue. Beyoncé just dropped the official video for her second single, “Best Thing I Never Had,” from her 4 album…
Isn’t Bey just a vision in white. This is probably the most polished and pretty she has ever looked in any of her videos; everything looks so clean and pure. But were we the only ones shocked to an opening of Beyoncé wearing lingerie? Yea, it’s not a big deal but it certainly created a nude illusion that isn’t the norm from her. The other cool part about the video is the way they shot footage, set in the late 90′s, as if she attended her high school Prom.
Overall, this is definitely a video to make the song better. It’s one of those simple and minimalist approaches Bey made signature during her B’Day era but it works.

Despite there being no hit single from Beyoncé’s 4, that did not stop the album from going to the top of the charts on this week’s Bilboard 200. That’s right Beyoncé’s fourth studio debuted at #1. This makes Beyoncé the third act in music to have her first four studio albums to debut atop, following Britney Spears and DMX.
Now, from afar and in the records book, this looks all too pretty but that’s the best part about it. This is the lowest opening sales numbers of Beyoncé’s career, thus far, with the album shifting 310,000 copies. Also, she can thank the lack of any real competition from Big Sean, Selena Gomez, David Cook, Limp Bizkit, etc… this week. But Bey’s tem were most likely well aware of who would be releasing on June 28 and that’s why they stuck with the release date.
But otherwise, congrats to one of this generation’s leading female performers for another feat.
The Beyoncé promo machine is in full effect after smashing the stage at this year’s “Glas-ton-berry,” holding a private concert in London, performing on X-Factor (France), performing on Le Grand Journal and giving a one-on-one interview with Piers Morgan. 4 is in stores now, worldwide, and despite there being no hit singles this era, thus far, the album is still set to debut with respectable numbers a la Alicia Key’s The Element of Freedom.
Now that the album is out, there is no reason why the public should not have all of the tracks. The very final Deluxe track, “Dreaming,” which appears on the Japanese release of 4 has surfaced. It’s quite obvious why “Dreaming” was just a bonus track as it is very basic. There are some parts that make it nice but besides that, the song is blahh. Take a listen below.

It’s been two weeks since the leak of 4 and since then a slew of magazine editorials, pictorials and promo shots have surfaced from the booty bouncer. Currently, Beyoncé is over in France doing a promo tour… pushing ahead with the album despite the less-than-accepting response from the public.

OFWGKTA’s Frank Ocean scored his most mainstream achievement to date; cowriting for Beyoncé’s 4. Ocean’s contribution to the album comes in at track number three, titled “I Miss You.”
“I Miss You” is definitely one of the gems of 4. The lyrics are easily relatable and its beat is airy hypnotic. The minimalistic track sounds almost exactly like something Ocean would put out which is great in this case. He is still fairly unheard of and with this, the phone calls should start to pour in 4, 3, 2, 1…

The highly anticipated “Party” collaboration from 4 is here. How does it compare to our expectations?
We’ll admit, the track’s tempo is a little slower than we hoped for; the song is more smooth and chilled rather than banging and hyper. Besides that, “Party” is another track to show that Beyoncé is creating a great urban album with 4. The maturity and growth can be heard in the track and the old-school flavor fits the quirk of Mr. 3000. Beyoncé may not be able to get a top 10 hit to save her booty this era but the music is a lot more timeless than ever before. Check out the Kanye West and Consequence-produced track below.
