Amazon posted all the album snippets to B.o.B’s B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray. This album sounds amazing and we’re loving each and every song. We especially love the Vampire Weekend “Kids Don’t Stand a Chance” sample in track number 7. We will be bringing our review to you.
Turns out the magnificent “Don’t Let Me Fall” will not follow the radio winner, “Nothin’ On You” featuring Bruno Mars. Instead, the second single off of B.o.B’s B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray will be “Airplanes” featuring Hayley Williams which also happens to be the first installment of the song. Part II of the song will feature Eminem.
Yet again, B.o.B has struck our musical nerves. B.o.B is full on rapping in this song. In this song, B.o.B wishes that his life would go back to a time when there was no spotlight and drama-free. Paramore’s leading lady, Hayley Williams, takes on singing duties in the hook and let’s just say her voice and presence will definitely help this song to crossover into other markets. I think it’s official, KiD CuDi and B.o.B. are our favorite Hip-Hop hipster artists. “Don’t Let Me Fall” is Alternative/Hip-Hop in its finest form. The piano intro is beautiful and B.o.B.’s ability to switch between singing and rapping is magnificent. Man o man, we are going to purchase this album. Because of that we want you to do the same, so we are only putting the song up for stream. Album in stores on April 27.
Bobby Ray Simmons aka B.o.B. is quickly becoming a favorite of ours, almost as much as KiD CuDi. Although we just acquainted ourselves with his music after being sucked in by the great “Nothin’ On You” featuring Bruno Mars, we’re catching up on all of his discography. To our surprise and pleasure, the final and mastered version of “Satellite” is given when you pre-order his debut album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which hits stores on April 27.
Amazing, incredible, sonically orgasmic and lots more is what we can say about this song. The production was so well done and Ray’s vocal style is sicker than a virus. Continuing the new era of “hipsters” in Hip-Hop, B.o.B. released his first single from his forthcoming album, B.o.B Presents The Great Adventures of Bobby Ray, which will be in stores in April of 2010. The song features Bruno Mars is has a serving of Pop, Rock & Hip-Hop.
The song starts off with piano chords and the catchy hook sung by Mars. The song progresses into drums and B.o.B’s smooth rhymes. This could easily end up being what “Superstar” as for Lupe Fiasco. He lived up to the buzz with this one and we can’t wait for his album now.
