• Beyoncé Hits American Idol Stage Twice

  Beyoncé did not perform once, but twice, earlier tonight on the American Idol finale. Before elevating onto the stage, the six female finalists performed a medley of hits from Bey’s discography including: “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” “Irreplaceable,” “Get Me Bodied,” “If I Were a Boy,” and “Deja Vu.” The booty shaker then closed out the performance with her solo debut hit, “Crazy In Love.”

  Beyoncé later took the stage with a prettyy much perfect performance of her brand new released single, “1+1.” The performance really showed why she is one of the best when it comes singing. View the performances after…

• Lady GaGa Performs On Idol Finale

  Lady GaGa was on American Idol two weeks ago as a mentor but this week she was back to perform. She performed the third single, “The Edge Of Glory,” lifted from her album Born This Way, which by the way, is looking to go platinum in its first week.

  GaGa performed atop some towering structure dressed in some over-the-top garb. Vocally, she was on point. She then broke into her familiar piano/keyboard break but this time it sounded a bit off. • TLC Returns to Stage On American Idol

  R&B group TLC who peaked in the 90′s returned to the stage to perform two of their most popular hits from their discography. But before doing so Lil Jon opened the performance with “Come Get Some.” T-Boz and Chilli started off with “No Scrubs,” followed by “Waterfalls.” The performance really was nostalgic.

• On American Idol: Kelly Clarkson Was Great & Rihanna, The Vocalist?

  Last night, two of the music industry’s shining talents took to the stage on American Idol. First up was Kelly Clarkson who performed her duet, “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” with Jason Aldean. No surprise there, Kelly Clarkson vocals were beautiful.

  The eye opener of the night came in the form of Rihanna’s performance of “California King Bed.” Since the dawn of her career, Rihanna has been criticized for not being able to sing. Well years of work and growth, Rihanna delivered what probably was her best vocal performance of her career, thus far.

• Jennifer Lopez’s New Single Premiered On Eve Of American Idol Premiere

  Tonight is a big night for Jennifer Lopez. The original triple threat is making her televised debut as one of the new judges on the latest season of American Idol. Yesterday, she premiered the first official single from Love? on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show. The song is titled “On the Floor” and features Pitbull.

  Can we talk about how pretty the lady looks on the single cover… The single was produced by RedOne and it’s obvious it was. With a heavy “Lambada” sample, Pitbull does his usual style of rapping making it sound like something right off Rebelution.

  If you’re in the club put your glass down and get ready to move because certain clubs WILL embrace this song and play the hell out of it. As for Billboard status, that’s a big question mark. Even though Jennifer Lopez is going to heaven and back with promo, her appeal as a Pop artist, at least in USA, is not so much fire. But expect to see her take the stage on Idol.

• Performance: Lady GaGa On American Idol

  The GaGa was on American Idol last night in a non-live performance in which she supposedly profited $250,000USD. If those figures are true, did GaGa’s performance match that ridiculous price tag?

  In a nutshell, no. All of what we’ve come to expect from the top notch performance artist was there; elaborate costumes, a detailed stage design, amusing choreography, live singing and an acoustic intro (it’s become her formula).

  All of which we’ve just mentioned above was excellent but the most important thing was missing, her VITALITY. When “Alejandro” plays, the studio version, the bass is roaring and synths are grinding, the energy behind the music is simply proper. Last night on the other hand, it was obvious Lady GaGa needs to recooperate because the lady did in fact look tired. The excuse of saying “Alejandro” does not call for that type of energy is absurd because the amount of energy needed for that song is only a notch or two below “Bad Romance.”

  Overall, the performance was decent but GaGa left her flame on low.

• Rihanna Performs New Single, “Rockstar 101,” On American Idol

  Rihanna took the stage on tonight’s American Idol to perform the official new single from Rated R, “Te Amo” “Rockstar 101.”

  So it looks as though Rihanna wants to be a “performer” now with her taking a shot at playing the electric guitar: image baby, it’s all about the image. Other than that it was the usual humdrum affair from the popstar. “Rockstar 101″ seems to be favored by a lot of people but that is one song we can do without.

• Breaking News! Simon Cowell Leaves American Idol for U.S. X-Factor

  What a great day to start off the working week. Yes, it is a day that brings news to us and signals that in the near future American Idol will plummet into oblivion. It was just announced that Simon Cowell will not return to the judging panel after this season (season 10). The reason for the departure is due to the fact that Cowell is importing his baby across the pond from the U.K.: The X-Factor. The X Factor which reached audiences of 20 million in the U.K. will premiere on U.S. television in the fall of 2011 on the FOX nework. Read Fox’s official statement on X-Factor:

  FOX announced today that THE X FACTOR will launch in the U.S. in the fall of 2011. • NEWS: Mariah Reveals Album Title, Kris Allen is A.I. 2009

  Although you expect artists like Mariah Carey to take longer breaks between albums she is currently working on the on the follow up to E=MC². Earlier she revealed the title of her 12th studio album which is Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel via her official TWITTER page.

  Bcuz I Love U, I want u to be the first to know the title of my new album Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. It’s very personal & dedicated to u

  Alright I’m questioning if this is going to be as big as The Emancipation of Mimi or forgettable like E=MC². She also revealed a few days ago that she is working with Timbaland on this album with him hopefully reinventing his sound. For those of you who do not like change, Mariah will still be working with Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox. The album is due out later this year.

  
  We weren’t keeping up with this season of American Idol but we still knew what was going on. With everyone expecting fan-favorite Adam Lambert to win, he did not. Instead Kris Allen won.

  He deserved it and this comes off as a win/win situation. What the Idol team will do with Kris Allen is not too far from what he sounds like already, a little more mainstream radio-friendly. On the other hand you have an extremely edgy artist like Adam who is not bound by the Idol team to produce any generic material. So he has the chance to have more control over what he does, cause believe us people will be contacting him for a record deal. Adam’s sportmanship was unbelievable, it’s almost like he was an insider on the decision.
