UK X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke unfortunately has not seen the amount of success expected from her label. Not to worry because she’s heading across the pond to the US where she signed a five album record deal with Epic. For the release of Overcome in the US the label recruited Pitbull for a remix of “All Night Long.”

Not bad, not bad at all. “All Night Long” is the best uptempo track on the album (personal opinion) and it’s a cool thought to know that she’s throwing it out to see if US audiences will eat it up. All she ca do is work hard and pray that her career takes off properly.

Alexandra Burke – All Night Long feat. Pitbull (Remix)

Last night Alexandra Burke’s debut album, Overcome, leaked in its entirety. Her debut that features productions from RedOne, Stargate, The Phantom Boyz, ELEMENT, and The Runaways is filled from beginning to end with radio-ready singles. The album is a solid effort overall but it is certainly not what Spirit was for Leona Lewis. Burke had promised an urban sound to the listeners but instead the album is delivered with safe pop/dance songs that may be catchy for the minute but will become boring quick.

While we’re in the minute of catchiness, all the songs are decent but it’s the dancefloor anthem, “All Night Long”, that is an instant attraction. The electro-pop number has a nice bassline and a beautiful melody. Like any ditty radio song, the lyrics aren’t too deep but that doesn’t stop you from rocking the hell out of the song. This song along with many others on the album will get a few more spins. Overcome will be available the UK on the 19th of October, 2009.
