Pitbull is getting ready to release his fourth studio album Rebelution next week on the 1st of September. As always albums leak in advance on the net and we were able to preview it. It’s apparent Pitbull has gone the route of Flo-Rida and revamped his sound to the ever-so-popular dance/electronic influenced sound. By doing this he will appeal to a broader audience hence more record sales.
Many of the songs are good; certainly not timeless but we did enjoy the song featuring Akon entitled “Shut It Down”. Many of Pitbull’s songs on the album sample popular dance songs but we’re not aware if this this is an original beat or inspired by some other club track. With a heavy bassline and robotic synths, what’s not to love. You can pre-order Rebelution HERE.
