He’s lude, he’s crass, he’s obnoxious, he’s rude but you know what, he is one of the best things about contemporary Hip-Hop. Yup, Tyler, The Creator, of OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All), will release his sophomore solo album, Goblin, on May 10.

We were made aware of Tyler’s work after the video for “Yonkers” became a viral sensation within the Hip-Hop world. His music, which is some of the best within the genre today, can only be understood once you take time to understand that personality of his. Being politically correct is not apart of Tyler’s world, at all.

Tyler’s outside-of-the-box approach to music will remain as OFWGKTA signed a record deal with RED Distribution/Sony that will give them one hundred percent creative control. “Tron Cat,” a new leak from the project, shows off his deep aggression over some sinister production.

A new song from the guy with the great album, Miguel, surfaced earlier today. The new song is an acoustic song, in raw form. When we say raw, we mean it in every way. Miguel “keep it 100″ with this song, which is titled “Pu**y Is Mine.”

Only a guy like Miguel, with such talent can make such a crude word sound so smooth. It’s a cool and funny little song, take a listen. If you haven’t, you need to go and check out his debut album, All I Want Is You.

An unreleased cut from Chris Brown entitled “She Can Get It,” featuring Kevin McCall, hit the net, not too long ago. There’s no confirmation whether or not this song is a leftover from F.A.M.E. or to be featured on Fortune.

Wherever this song is from, it deserves to be on an official track list of some sort. It’s not major single material but it surely sounds good. Brown has a knack for these R&B tunes, filled with sexual verbiage.

XV samples Jazmine Sullivan‘s “Famous” for a cut of the same name. The track is lifted from his mixtape, Zero Heroes, which drops tomorrow. The track also features Sez Batters. A very nice one from X to the V.

Timbaland has been giving the public some obvious leftovers for his Timbaland Thursdays series. The serious started off okay but with the passing of each Thursday, the songs became worse. Many said, “This cannot be the super producer with the Midas Touch.” In the past two weeks, the opinion remained the same or even became harsher.

That’s the masses’ opinions though. This week and last week, Timbo released “Not My Happiness” and “I Won’t Board This Plane.” Okay, upon first listen, these songs sound a mess but that’s because they are. It’s obvious that these are rough cuts, an experiment. However, what make these songs better than the rest is the fact they are a CHANGE. The sound that was born in 2006 (Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado) has been manipulated in every which way… it is dead.  Now Timbaland needs to perfect this newer and less used sound to come back strong again.

We’ll admit, we weren’t feeling the revolution in sound on M.I.A.’s latest album, /\/\ /\ Y /\, but that all changed when her Vicki Leekx mixtape was released on New Year’s.

The entire mixtape was great but there are two songs we keep going back to. The main one is “Murder Sound VIP” which is a Munchi production. The song is one big pot of sounds and shows off that raw, hype and wild edge we so love from M.I.A.

“Get Around” is the last track on the mixtape and as much as we hate, yes hate to use this word, this track has swag. It’s a perfect midtempo to just bounce to.

Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams certainly still gets played in our library; that album was just great. Currently, Solange is in the process of creating the follow-up to that album. This morning a new track, produced by Jim Jonsin, entitled “Electric Blue” leaked.

Solange is singing a tune that is her usual quirky but sounds a little more mainstream than usual. If this is the leak, then we’re hoping for much better from the album.
