We were just across the way and saw this new song and video from Miguel entitled “Adorn.” The song and video is lifted from Art Dealer Chic, Vol. 1 due out on February 27. Holy smokes, this song is some sensual goodness.

“‘Adorn’ is the first visual projection i’ll release inspired by a series of dreams I recently had,” explained Miguel, who also painted the album’s artwork.

Of the handful of people who accused Lady GaGa of biting their style a couple of years ago, Irish artiste Róisín Murphy was one of them. Since the claims and a few loose single releases (“Orally Fixated“) Murphy has been somewhat quiet. That’s changed with the recent release of her song entitled “Simulation.”

Similar to “Orally…” the song is retro, disco and plain erotic. Lead by sex, the nine minute and ten seconds song is spread out with Murphy moaning and groaning over the bass thumping beat. Elizabeth Grant bka Lana Del Rey has become a viral sensation with her vintage sonic style. We’ve always been captivated by “Video Games”; the song is just beautiful. Although, for some reason we just weren’t completely pulled in by this true artist.

After girl group ‘RichGirl’ failed to take off, member Lyndriette has stepped to the side and is pushing a solo career. The gorgeous girl premiered the first single entitled “Addicted” from her forthcoming EP, Proclamation.

It’s been over three years since we were introduced to KiD CuDi’s music. We broke away from the fandom of CuDi but still find interest in his latest projects. CuDi is teaming up with his longtime producer friend, Dot Da Genius, to release WZRD on January 30, 2012 (CuDi’s birthday). The first track from the project premiered last night.

WZRD will be a profanity-free rock infused album. From the sound of the first single, “Brake” is just that. Both Dot n CuDi are behind the productions this round.

French Electro Pop act’s, M83, gem (“Midnight City”) has crossed over into the mainstream. The striking tune is featured in the commercial for 2011′s Victoria’s Secret Holiday commercial. The 30 second spot features Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Lais Ribeiro, Erin Heatherton and Lindsay Ellingson. The commercial was shot in Prague… We smell crossover success for the Fench act.

This year’s VSFS (Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show) will have musical acts Kanye West, Cee-Lo Green and Maroon 5. The show is back home in New York, Miranda Kerr will wear the Fantasy Bra and oh, Karlie Kloss is 18 this year so there is a big chance she will be there. VV Brown was Travelling Like the Light her frist go ’round and now she is returning under Capitol Records, once again, for her sophomore LP. Garnering criticial acclaim in both the UK and US VV brings us the first single, “Children (Keep On Singing),” produced by Chuck Harmony.

The single features Chiddy of Chiddy Bang, samples the nursery rhyme “Do Your Ears Hang Low?” and comes complete with a single cover that looks very similar to Nicki Minaj. Aside from the ditty sound of the song it’s about the youth and their aspirations of material wealth being top priority. The song was also inspired by this past summer’s London riots. Take a listen to the new tune below, which displays a heavier vocal style from Brown.

Party Rockers, LMFAO sweeped the summer’s Top 40 radio stations and dancefloors with their #1 hit, “Party Rock Anthem.” Whether the song was your addiction or you loathed it, one thing’s for sure, the song was everywhere.

Listening to their sophomore album, Sorry For Party Rocking, none of the songs stand out like the former but there are still some decent dancefloor-ready tunes. The group is gearing up to release “One Day” as their next single.

“P.R.A.” is most likely the highlight of the album but “One Day” has a feel good vibe to it and will definitley bring energy to any club. Take a listen below…

UK Pop tart, Pixie Lott debuted with the UK #1 single “Mama Do” back in 2009 and now the the entertainer is gearing up for her sophomore album. As part of a re-release of Turn It Up, Lott released the attractive “Broken Arrow” late last year. But now, seems like a shorter haircut and a lot of black will make up her image this sophomore round. The first single to be luifted from the project is “All About Tonight.”

“All About Tonight” is an amazing Pop song. The song is catchy, uptempo, boasts a giddy yet pretty melody and the lyrics are sensible enough without the instrumental. Just by the way the song sounds you want to rock your head to it until falls off. Listen below and watch the video after…

For the past few days, Frank Ocean’s unreleased cut, “Thinking About You,” has been playing constantly through our speakers. The song is everything we love about Beyoncé’s ”I Miss You” with its hypnotic pattern. We’re huge supporters of Mr. Ocean but not everything he releases is our sup of tea but this little song does it for us.

The following day, RocNation signee, Bridget Kelly, surfaces with a version of her own entitled “Thinking About Forever.” No idea where Kelly’s version will end up, whether it be for an EP or an LP.

We just have to compare the two… Ocean’s demo just takes the cake this round. Maybe because his version surfaced first and because the sound of the song is so him. Kelly’s rendition just seems bland especially for someone who has some strong vocals.

It’s not as common for a debut single from a music star to surface on a Sunday morning but right now Drake is making “Headlines” with the leak of his debut single. The first single is lifted from his forthcoming sophomore album entitled Take Care, out on October 24.

Aubrey filled the void of his inexistent R&B mixtape by releasing warm-up tracks “Dreams Money Can Buy” and the viral hit, “Marvin’s Room.” This morning the Rhythm Rapper releases a more uptempo track, produced by Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib. The track is a hybrid of a club banger and one of his more subtle tunes.

Thus far, Take Care will feature input from Jamie Smith from The Xx, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, The Weeknd and The Neptunes, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. Drake claimed Thank Me Later was rushed but for this second album he is taking his time. Whatever it is we are looking forward to this one.

Beyoncé is riding high on the Bilboard 200 whilst Kelly prepares for an album release but what is going on with Michelle? Not to be left out, DC3′s third member, Michelle Williams, has unleashed a brand new buzz single today. The track entitled “Love Gun” was produced by Druski. Williams gave some insight into her forthcoming winter release.

“My album will be ‘inspirational pop.’ Think of Katy Perry’s ‘Fireworks’ or Natasha Beddingfeld’s ‘Unwritten.’ I want to give people a message of hope while at the same time get them moving with dance inspired tracks.” [SOURCE]

William’s last album, Unexpected, was a very solid album and she was actually one of the first urban artists to go the dance route. “Love Gun” is a bass bumpin’, electro drenched tune that continues the sound of her last album, listen below.

It’s here, it’s here, the Kanye West and Roscoe Dash collaboration from Big Sean’s Finally Famous. In the Pop Wansel and Mike Dean-produced track, West slaps the listener with a cool verse while Dash carries out his duty as that hook guy.

Sean describes this track as both one with a message and as a club banger. Sonically, you you can separate the two as it goes from soft to hard in the hook and verses. Lyrically, all we hear is West’s vocal bravado. We hope to hear this whilst out on the town this Summer, listen away…

So much for his retirement, The-Dream returns with his über explicit and sexy style of music with the dual track entitled “Body Work & F#ck My Brains out.” The track is lifted from his forthcoming album, The Love, IV (Diary Of A Mad Man), out on his birthday (September 20). Terius “The-Dream” Nash is credited in the song as the writer, producer and arranger.

There are times when The-Dream is mediocre and then are times when he molests the genre of R&B. This is a perfect example. The transition between the two tracks is something great. If this is a sign of what’s to come on the album then we’re in for a treat.

Multiple threat/Bahamian-native, TAP, is getting closer to releasing new music. In particular, there is this one track that a few heard and praised but not until tonight have we been teased with a preview of “Jealousy.”

In the brief footage, TAP speaks about working with her father, the live instruments and her favoritism over the track. When speaking about favoritism we definitely share her feelings on the song. From the unpolished audio the song sounds like a gem so you could imagine…

Since we last caught up with Sosa Man, he’s had a name change. Yup, the Bahamian-native now goes by the stage name of So$ Major.

The rapper dabbled into the DancePop sound recently on a bonus track, “Too Sexy” but that was not the first time. “Bottle Popper,” which was released last October, was actually Major’s first go at it. The Dragonfly single also featured Bahamian rapper MDeez. The music video for the single will premiere in the near future. So until then pick up So$’s LP, DREAMLAND on iTunes and CDBaby.com.

Who still listens to Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends? We doesn’t, there were some timeless tracks on there.. Well, just a little while ago the new buzz single from Coldplay’s forthcoming fifth studio album was released. The single entitled “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall” is described as “a euphoric dance track for piled-up clubbers.”

A euphoric dance track is correct. We’ve been waiting on new material from this phenomenal international band for some time and “Every…” does not disappoint. The band’s yet-to-be titled fifth studio album is stated to be inspired by the White Rose movement and American Graffiti of decades past, hence the new promo photo above. Listen after…

Before we get into this we must commend Beyoncé for trying to be successful with the leftfield sound of “Run The World (Girls)” and going totally R&B with “1+1.” Unfortunately, both tracks from 4 have failed to be mainstream hits. The failure has Beyoncé and her team going back to her ber safe format of radio-friendly, midtempo, R&B/Pop cuts. This exactly what “Best Thing I Never Had,” the official second single from 4, is.

The Babyface-penned and Symbolc One-produced single sounds more like a Stargate production. It could have easily been a B-side to 2006′s “Irreplaceable.” The song is nothing memorable but with constant radio play this song will be stuck in your head. The song is easily digestible so it will be much easier to catch onto the charts. So far, from all the leaks of 4: “End Of Time”>”1+1″>”Run the World (Girls)”>”Best Thing I Never Had.”

Also, the song’s title doesn’t fit the lyrics, or does it? Why would she be saying “The Best I Never Had” but smashing the guy. Leona Lewis had it right with the “The Best You Never Had.”

Beyoncé gives us a slow jam, showing off those soulfully trained vocals in the opening track off of her upcoming album, 4, entitled “1+1.”

How fitting, with the belief that the world ends today, Beyoncé’s supposed second single from 4, “End Of Time,” leaks a day ahead. The song leaked earlier, in teaser form, but now the entire song is here. We can finally hear the Fela Kuti-inspired track.

What starts bitter, certainly gets better as this second song from the 4 era is two thumbs up, sonically. The song is a cohesion of her fire from “Crazy In Love,” the funk and soul of B’Day and her best vocal stylings from her past material. As funky as this song is, it still has fluidity. “End…” is a perfect example of Beyoncé being well, Beyoncé whilst attacking a different sound that contrasts what is Popular today. We’re hoping that this is one of many gems from the album.
