“Wylin’ ‘Cause I’m Young” is set to appear on Perajok & Kanye West Presents: G.O.O.D. Ass Mixtape which is set to drop on this upcoming Monday, the 16th. The eerie and hypnotizing production is the perfect backing to both CuDi’s and West’s on-point lyrics. The song is pretty opposite to their recent release, “Erase Me.” Where “Erase Me” was fun and light, “Wylin’…” is a straight-faced, no-playin’-games type of jam.

Here it is, a new track from the perpetual rapper himself, R.A.P.P. Quelle. The song, “BMF (Beast Mode Frenzy)” is set to appear on an upcoming mixtape. Quelle did not too release his Abstract Art. Quelle’s World : Vol 1 too long ago and he’s already churning out the next.

We’ve been waiting for a proper time to introduce you all to this promising talent, who goes by the name of Andra. To get things started, here are a bit of fun facts about this exceptional human being/artist:
-She was born and bred in rural Zimbabwe, where she grew up with no running water or electricity.
-Founded her own successful charity The Kijana Project at the age of 12 to assist AIDS orphans.
-Was the youngest person in history to compete on the Zimbabwean National Artistic Gymnastics Team, then broke Zimbabwean and African gymnast records which she still holds today.
-Was KNIGHTED at the age of 14 for her humanitarian efforts.
-Finished high school at 14, then attended Stanford to study Civil Engineering and Sociology — left in her senior year at age 18 to pursue music.
Is an accomplished ballerina and teaches dance.
-On top of all this, she’s really hot.

To go along with those major accomplishments her musical talent was noticed by Kerry Brothers Jr. For the past few years Brothers had Andra perfecting her craft, writing and recording music. All the hard work has paid off because earlier this week she premiered the release of her first musical project, her mixtape entitled Love is 4 Suckaz/I’m a Sucka 4 Love.
The mixtape consists of 17 tracks and varies from topics of superficial meaning to ocean deep. The mixtape features guest features from KiD CuDi, Drake, Lupe Fiasco, Rich Hil and Mateo. Since “Delirious” made us, well, delirious we’ve been pretty supportive of Vistoso Bosses. It was unfortunate that the song did not take off but that did not stop them from working hard and keeping at what they love to do.
Last week and after a few unmentioned pushbacks the girls finally released their first mixtape hosted by DJ Sense entitled The World Would Suck Without Girls. The majority of the tape is just the girls doing their own thing on some recognizable urban beats. There are a few original songs including “Party Like Animal” which was released awhile ago on Space Cowboy’s album. Give the tape a chance, we’re sure you’ll like their colorful and carefree summer tunes.

We speak for all Quelle Fans when we give a rousing RRRRRRRRRR to this mix tape! You might remember this artist from his hit song “80′s Back” but now he’s on the music scene again with the release of his mixtape by the name of Abstract Art. Quelle’s World : Vol 1 which was hosted by DJ Genius. In a recent eLIFE242 interview he describes the tape as:
“This is more like slowing the pace down so people can kind of get a good view of what i’m about, you know what my music about really. A lot of my influence is abstract from different places.”
Our faves off the 22 track album have to be “From Me to You” (which is set on Alicia Key’s “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart” track) , “Your Man” and “Something Official For the Haters”. This album is indeed not only for the Rap Heads out there, Quelle puts it down with songs for the ladies like “Lay Lay baby” and “Lay Lay Make the Bedrock”.
The track “Boy and His Shadow” is of another element that we love about this tape. Quelle exemplifies that good rap artists are poets and he is indeed lyrically crafty with a flair for conscious thinking.

With many Bahamian musicians attempting to “attack” the music industry, popular Bahamian artist, Sosa Man with the help of DJ Mayday, takes a warriors stab at the game and reinforces himself as a Bahamian rap giant with his mixtape entitled “Dream Music”
The 15 track tape is filled with a well balanced mixture of original and borrowed beats from popular tracks like Jay Z’s “On to the Next One” and Ludacris’ “How Low.” Our top songs on the album would have to be car cruisers like “Sour Like Lime” , “Bed Break” , and “What’s next”. The smoothest track would have to be his previously released single “iDream” featuring Baha Men front man Rick Carey.
As a nice random compliment to the album, there were interludes that added a comedic flair to the tape. Our favorite one being “Nassau Corner Motel “ *wink wink* sketch that is for sure to have you cracking the hell up.
Collectively this album is definitely downloadable for any rap lover. We give it 4 stars.

As Lil Wayne spends time away he should be proud to know that his signees are representing the label well. Shanell aka SNL released her mixtape today, Shut Up N Listen. The mixtape continues to show the talent of the pretty voiced lady. She jumps on some urban bangers, old school jams, pop alternative tunes, house beat music and more on this beattape.

Lil Wayne’s girl, D. Woodz’s sister, SNL, whatever you want to call her, Shanell has a new song that just hit the net and we are liking it a lot. The Aaron Foster produced song is from Shanell’s mixtape Shut Up N Listen which is out Thursday.

Mateo released Chapter 3 of his Underneath The Sky mixtape today and although there are only 6 songs, everyone of them is amazing, man o man, this guy sing. Not including the intro , the mixtape includes some new renditions/covers including Lady GaGa‘s “Bad Romance, Jay‘s “Empire State of Mind” and two others plus an all new song which is on point.
In other news, Mateo has parted ways with Myspace Records. No details on the situation has been revealed but only time will tell if this move makes difference in his success.
