Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of attending a joint concert put on by Club Aura, located here in The Bahamas, in the Atlantis Resort. The two special performers were two of today’s more popular musical acts: Travie McCoy and Jessie J.
Travie was the first to take the stage. His band, The Lazarus Project, definitely brought energy into the club that night. Maxwell Drummey of Chester French played the electric guitar like somethin’ else. Travie performed some album cuts including “We’ll Be Alright” and his single “Need You.” Of course he performed “Billionaire” but not before hyping up the audience with 50 Cent’s “I Get Money.” Travie also performed “Cupid’s Chokehold” from his Gym Class Heroes days after revealing that the band’s next album is coming sooner than we think. Travie performed a great set and interacted with the crowd.
Next up was Jessie J. From the moment she stepped onto stage, her personality was alive. You think stars like Katy Perry have loads of personality, then you need to go and see Jessie J. She did a lot of improvising as you will see in the videos; she told jokes, interacted with the crowd, etc… Her voice was unbelievable. There was a bit of talking going on in the audience when she started to perform “Who You Are.” She stopped, said her bit and by the time that voice started again everyone was silent. What a great set she put on.
It was an entertaining two hours and we look forward to more concerts in the future. View photos and video footage after…
WARNING: The quality is not the best but still viewable.

Awesome.. awesome post guys
Aren’t Jessie’s fifteen minutes up yet?
Thank you Ampy.
Oh Proph, don’t be so cruel lol. The facade of Jessie J is a lot less interesting than the actual human being that is Jessica Ellen Cornish.
^lol fifteen minutes?
Jessie J is here to stay you idiot.
she had bad reviews on her album AND STILL WENT PLATINUM.
That she did, her debut wasn’t the album I expected but there were still good songs on there. Hopefully she does it better for the sophomore album.
lol I almost want to agree with Prophet though….. At the concert she was very personable and clearly the girl can sing like no ones business but I just don’t know if she will be this timeless artist. We’ll just have to see.
Hey! Thanks for posting the vids. I was there for Jessie J, huge fan of hers. I was so into the prefomance that i didnt take a lot of pics or any vids at all. If its not out of line to ask…. Are these all the vids & pics of her. I was at the side of the stage and she came over held my hand and sang but i didnt get to capture that so if anyone did i would love a copy of the photo/vid.
Hey there Vanessa, that’s not out of line. I was just like you, lucky I even got the footage I did. We were into the entire concert, a lot. I remember when they both went to the sides but I did not capture it on video.
