Kat DeLuna was prominent in the US music market for her debut hit, “Whine Up, featuring Elephant Man back in 2007. Since then she never really had another hit this side of the world. That’s not the case over in parts of Europe, such as Germany, where she’s a star. That’s not bad, especially when Germany just overtook the UK as the third largest music market in the world.
The KayRhythm blog caught up with Kat in Paris where she discussed many things especially the situation with her frequent collaborator, producer RedOne, and Jennifer Lopez. She spoke about a few other topics including her new album and her admiration for some of her peers. Chek it out below.

Interesting interview, especially interesting questions. After having seen this, I did realize a few things. Like how good Kat Deluna could be as a singer, for a first.
But also about the complex relationship which exists between a producer and a performer, if those two aren’t the same person.
