Chris Brown Has a Knack For Midtempos

Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. is now up for grabs on the net. Despite a great deal of the songs surfacing there are still some that were brand new to our ears. Two of those songs are standout midtempos. With “Deuces” and “No Bullshit,” it’s clear as day that Brown shines when he sings those R&B midtempos.

In “All Back,” Brown sings “you never miss a good thing, ’til it’s gone.” He may be singing about Rihanna, he may be singing about wanting his position back as the contemporary R&B/Pop prince but one thing is certain, he’s sorry for his actions. The melody, the power in the chorus, this jam is knockin’ the right spot.

“Should’ve Kissed You” is more Pop than R&B; it sounds something like a Stargate production. Brown is once again singing with regret as he wishes that he didn’t let the chance go to be with that certain girl.
