Lovely, lovely, lovely, oh how lovely it is for Adele right now. The UK-bred talent has hopped across the pond and is now on top in the US. Yup, Adele’s sophomore album, 21, debuted at #1 on this week’s Billboard 200. The lady shifted roughly 352,000 copies of the album. Her debut, 19, only managed to reach #10, selling 948,000 copies since its 2008 release. Congratulations to Adele. It’s a splash of cold water in the face when the true artists are selling big like the radio smashers.
Onto other things Adele, the singer performed a six-song set for VH1 Unplugged. She performed “Someone Like You,” “Rolling In the Deep,” “Do You Remember,” “Chasing Pavements” and did a cover of two songs. Check it all out after…
