The Pittsburgh Steelers may not have won the Super Bowl but “Black and Yellow” is certainly a winner this week. That’s right, after 18 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Wiz Khalifa’s “Black Yellow” is the #1 song in the US this week with 2.3 million copies sold to date.
“Black and Yellow” replaces Bruno Mars‘ “Grenade” followed by Katy Perry‘s “Firework.” This now makes it Perry’s third triple platinum single. Rounding out the top 5 is P!nk‘s “F**kin’ Perfect” and Dr. Dre‘s “I Need a Doctor” featuring Eminem.
We guess the Britney Spears‘ “Hold It Against Me” was mainly hype after spending on’y one week at #1 and has since been fluctuating around the #10 spot. A congratulations goes out to Chris Brown who seems to finally be pulling through the negative attention. One of his many releases, “Look At Me Now,” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes debuts at #11.
In other Khalifa news, the video for “Roll Up” has been shot with Cassie as the leading lady.

Hip-Pop lady, Nicki Minaj, is still enjoying success with her debut album, Pink Friday, 11 weeks after its release. The album finally rose to #1 on the Billboard 200. The album sold another 45,000 copies pushing the album total sales to 1.035 million. Hold on wait, wasn’t Minaj’s album certified platinum from a few weeks ago???
Anyways, maybe Minaj will get her first #1 as her next single will be “Fly” featuring Rihanna.
