Nicki Minaj Is Put To Good Use On Last Night’s SNL

Last night, on SNL, Nicki Minaj and Jesse Eisenberg were the guest entertainers. Both did well but Nicki Minaj put her multi-faceted self to good use; she performed two of her singles as well as performing in two skits.

Minaj performed “Moment 4 Life” as well as “Right Thru Me.” Let’s just say Minaj may have performed her best on television during “Right Thru Me.” The tempo of the song met her dancing capabilities, the costume was over-the-top, in a good way and the minor reworkings of the song were a nice change. The only bad part about the performance was when Minaj tried to turn sanger (see 3:14) and ended up sounding like a… anyway, that’s not politically correct.


Minaj took part in two skits; one was pure acting and another a musical sketch. The first was a collaboration with The Lonely Island in a song entitled “The Creep.” The song itself wasn’t so cool but Minaj alone was an attraction. Then there was her nothing-but-acting sketch: The Bride of Blackenstein. This one was actually funny.
