Rolling Papers is on the March 29 horizon. We can’t expect “Black and Yellow” to last forever which is why Wiz Khalifa is moving on to the second single from the album. For the new single, entitled “Roll Up,” Khalifa enlists production duo Stargate, once again, to recreate some magic.
Khalifa goes a bit soft on the synth-drenched single. He is displaying emotions to the one he loves… Khalifa is receiving a lot of negative criticism from this song. Most are saying it’s such a bad thing he’s going so radio and light. To be honest, we do not get a gangster vibe from Khalifa, at all. Don’t let the tattoos fool you nor the excessive smoking. Besides, with melodies as pretty as “This Plane,” you can’t be too rough, eh?
Another song leaked from Khalifa’s project entitled “We Drift Deeper.” Yet again, it’s another great song with a not-so-urban production.
Check out yet another track from the album… View the video for “On My Level” featuring Too $hort.
Lastly, Khalifa made his debut late night television debut with a performance of “Black & Yellow” on George Lopez.
