The lovely Swedish singer/songwriter, Lykke Li, is entering her sophomore phase as her new single, “Get Some,” and B-side, “Paris Blue,” premiered on her official site yesterday. Her debut album, Youth Novels, was an indie hit and even attracted some mainstream attention by her songs being sampled by other artists and in television commercials.
“Get Some” is an upbeat tune filled with lots of live instruments. The drums are prominent throughout as Li’s light-as-air vocals sway through the music. The song is very funky and continues the great sound of her debut. The B-side, “Paris Blue,” is a shift to something very melancholy. There is a very dark and sad vibe behind the song and it’s plainly solemn and beautiful.

As a strong lover of Lykke Li and a great Hater of Lady Gaga, I’m insulted by the comparison.
The resemblance between the two are undeniable. There is no comparison of them musically but from the photo above and photos Stefani, their similar looks cannot be disputed.
