Binkie, Naomi, Leslie, and Sarah are still going strong despite their underrated debut album’s, How to Be a Lady: Volume 1, failure. A new song, which they performed a few months ago, finally surfaces in studio quality and is the first single from How to Be a Lady: Volume 2. The new single, “Put Ya Money On It (Africa),” is produced by Midi Mafia.
The single has a heavy tribal influence. The sound is definitely a step outside of what was on their first album but kudos to them for venturing into something new. Binkie had this to say about their new direction:
