It’s been over five years since the release of Missy Elliott’s sixth studio album, The Cookbook. There was a short intermission in 2008 when Elliott recorded and released “Ching-a-Ling” and “Shake Your Pom Pom” for the Step Up 2 the Streets Soundtrack. Well now she’s aiming to release her new single, “Blow Your Whistle,” very soon. Of course no Missy single goes without a crazy visual:

Missy Elliott claims her reals fans do not consider this a “comeback” but let’s be real, the fans have been waiting anxiously for the left-field goodness that Elliott produces.
