Video Premiere: Rihanna “Only Girl (In the World)”

After some waiting, the Anthony Mandler-directed video for Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” has leaked ahead of it’s television debut tonight. As you all know, “Only Girl (In the World)” is the first single lifted from Rihanna’s fifth studio album, LOUD, in five years. Sonically, the single is that stadium, hands-in-the-air type of song and the video matches that exactly.

Matching Rihanna’s locks, there are lots of reds used in the video. Mandler takes advantage of the big sound of the Stargate-produced single by placing Rihanna in isolated locations with wide open panoramic views. The visuals, the hues, are all eye-grabbing and while Rihanna’s style isn’t the high-end fashion we’re used to, one thing is still intact: her blazin’ personality. Red RiRi is really having all the fun and making it seem as though she has the entire world to herself, in this video.
