Shakira’s follow-up to last year’s underrated She Wolf, Sale El Sol, will be released on October 19. The bilingual album has already showed a great contrast in Shakira’s sound and image: from glam to more organic. A new leak surfaced in full just earlier today.

“Islands” is a cover of The xx’s third single, of the same name, and is finally here in full after a few previews hit the net earlier this year. Shaki’s unique vocals may not be everyone’s cup of tea but you cannot deny that the lady knows what suits her voice. This song sounds amazing filtered through her.
