We Need This Song Pronto, In CDQ: N*E*R*D Premieres Daft Punk-Produced “Hypnotize You”

N.E.R.D - Nothing (Official Album Cover)

Although being serious fans of N*E*R*D, we really did not feel their last album, Seeing Sounds, and this new album wasn’t exciting us too much but since last week that’s somewhat changed. The incredibly fresh album art was the first thing to jump start our real interest. Then, last night the trio performed on David Letterman to perform a brand new song from Nothing: “Hypnotize You,” produced by Daft Punk.

All we needed to see was Daft Punk and we were on that song like nothing else. With all biased opinions aside this is truly N*E*R*D’s best song in the last long while. The song is very mellow, smooth and defines N*E*R*D’s unique lane of music. The best part is it can played just as much as any other catchy radio tune out there. Nothing is in stores November 2.
