Just when the 2010 VMA’s performance line-up was looking full of mess with one or two exceptions, it was recently confirmed by Ciara herself that she is to take the stage at this year’s ceremonies:

Correct us if we’re wrong but won’t this make it the first time, EVER, that Ciara performs solely on the VMA stage. It’s about damn time and this is just the sort of promo she needs for her album. September 12, tune in people.
Ciara is such an amazing performer so it I am so excited about seeing her at the MTV Video Music Awards show. Her infectious R&B songs and Ciaras music videos show exactly why she is one of the hottest R&B singers around at the moment. I also loved her R&B music video for “Ride” despite it getting banned by BET television. It would be cool to see her do a Rap & Hip hop music video with 50 Cent though that would be awesome.
