Kylie Minogue – ‘Aphrodite’: Love, Beauty, Sexuality & A Kick Ass Album

Kylie+Minogue+APHRODITE

kylie aphroditeWe always knew the song “Locomotion” but did not know the pop star Kylie Minogue until she gained US success during the Fever era. The interest cooled down during the Body Language phase then the hype resurfaced with her tenth album, simply titled X. Whilst the album had some major highs it was inconsistent and didn’t reach Fever’s heights. Fast forward three years and her brand new single “All the Lovers” with the over-the-top Aphrodite theme hit the net. Without a second thought Minogue had the interest back to a Fever standard.

Yesterday, the album leaked. The megamix and album snippets left an air of AMAZING throughout. A big obstacle with previews is they either surpass the full album or fail to show off just how great it is. In Aphrodite’s case, it’s the latter. From beginning to end the album is pure MAGIC. Minogue and her team literally knocked each track out of the park. Well there may be a track or two that do not deserve two thumbs up but it really does not affect the listening experience. With such gems as “Too Much,” “All the Lovers,” “Illusion,” “Aphrodite” and basically the rest of the album, Kylie Minogue has released what will probably one of the top Pop albums of 2010.
