Okay, we’ve got our hands on it. Only moments after leaking onto the net, Brandon Flowers’ first solo single, “Crossfire,” has been snatched by UMG from Youtube and every other place where it was leaked. The power of fans wanting to hear music cannot be defeated and so the first single is here to listen to.
SATISFIED, and more, this single is what we were expecting and leaves us very happy. The melody is lovely as “buttah” and the vibe is sprinkled with The Killers but it is still all very much Brandon. This song has that epic stadium feel to it and the lyrics are deep and provoke feelings you never knew you had. Listen to the fresh, falsetto tinged and brilliant lead single from Flamingo.
