A couple of months ago, up-and-comer, Sky Ferreira, released her buzz track and video for “17″ and today she gets official and releases her Bloodshy & Avant-produced “One.”

“17″ displayed the indie/alternative side of Ferreira in a way of her being this decade’s Fiona Apple. But after being introduced to her by Proph we read that being Blooshy & Avant’s protégé, her music would take the electropop route. Initially we thought, yea why not, let’s dumb down another very talented artist then “One” hits the net.

Ferreira maintains her unique sonic aura with the synth drenched production in all its repetitive style; it’s like the disco-lite sound of the future. This is what we call original music for the mainstream; this song DESERVES to be loved by radios for it’s catchy nature yet still having a certain amount of depth. Simply put, we love this song to death and want to hear MORE.
