Finally after a bit of waiting the official title for M.I.A.’s forthcoming studio album has been picked. The title is simply MAYA but spelt out in special characters, /\/\ /\ Y /\. It’s creative but nothing we haven’t seen before as Aaliyah did something similar for her last album back in 2001, see HERE. The album also has a set release date of July 13 after a few pushbacks.

Also, an alternate version of “XXXO” has been posted and we DIGS it much more than the version that was released yesterday. When the album leaks hits stores we’ll just put this version in place.
