“Te Amo” To be the Next ‘Rated R’ Single for Rihanna

With “Rude Boy” sitting at #l on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a third consecutive, Def Jam must think that Rated R is worthy of producing another hit single. The label is going ahead with “Te Amo” as the forth single from the album:

“Te Amo” is a passionate and exotic summer jam about a young woman who’s attracted to another female, but the the object of her passion doesn’t seem to feel the same way. Could we perhaps get to see some sexy faux-lesbian innuendo in the music video? A little lesbo love will be a nice change from the robots that Rihanna’s been getting her rocks off with lately. How funny is it that “Te Amo” was the first song to leak from this era, even before the album was made official, and now it may the last single. Anyway, it’s a good choice because it’s the only “darkless” song left on the album for Rihanna and we all know sunshine works for Ms. Fenty.
