It’s okay if we were let down by Minaj’s “Massive Attack” because the Dirty Money crew has more than made up for it. After both singles, “Angels” and “Love Comes Down,” failed to chart high on the Billboard charts the crew is back for what may be a charming third time. The Rico Love penned, Danja produced and T.I. featured “Hello, Good Morning” hit the net not too long ago.
THIS song right here, is insanely hit potential. From the second saw the video and heard the audio snippet from one of Diddy’s Superbowl parties back in early Feb, we knew this was IT. Dirty Money may not be in everyone’s music hearts but they are doing a different style of music from what’s on the radio but the catch is all the songs have the ability to RULE the radio. The bass in this song is near orgasmic and it fits T.I.’s flow like a glove. It seems the only thing keeping these songs from taking off is a lot of people’s dislike for Diddy. But with everyone wanting to hear T.I., great move!
The Last Train to Paris hits outlets on June 22, 2010 and you can bet we’ll have a First Class ticket on that train.

Dirty Money – Hello, Good Morning feat. T.I.
Today, March 30, Usher’s Raymond vs. Raymond hits music outlets and to accompany the release of the album is the release of the music video for the album’s first international single, “OMG,” feat. Will.I.Am. The clip was directed by Anthony Mandler.
From the get go with the black background and lasers the video reminds us of “Yeah.” Then there’s some split screen action with Will.I.Am and Usher doing their own little dance moves. The video further progresses into some studio sets, more cool lighting effects and some sexy choreography from the ladies donning all black. There’s even a 3D effect thrown in for fun.
Justin Bieber’s second single from My World 2.0, “Never Let You Go,” receives the video treatment. Like “Baby,” the video for “Never Let You Go” is set in a family friendly environment, an aquarium. If we didn’t know any better we’d think they shot the video over here, in The Bahamas. It’s a fun and appropriate video, check it out!
This past weekend whilst at the 2010 Kids Choice Awards, Katy Perry spoke to MTV about the follow-up to 2008′s smash album, One of the Boys. She spoke excitedly about how she “nailed” the sound of the album to be released this summer:
“It’s so exciting. It’s coming out this summer. It’s a summer record.”
“It’s what I said I wanted earlier,” she said. “We nailed it: It’s roller-skating! It’s ’90s! It’s Ace of Base! It’s Cyndi Lauper! It’s like all these colors and more.”
Perry also spoke about the guest appearances on the album:
“We tried to make it happen, but he[Calvin Harris] got really famous so it didn’t happen. But there might be some really cool guest appearances by some cool rappers from the West Coast,” she added. “I mean, you’ll just have to see, since I’m a California girl, you know. And then some best friends might be appearing. … We’ll see! It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be one of those records that is everybody’s favorite guilty pleasure.”[SOURCE]
Interesting, we’re big fans of the 90′s music era but are just casual fans of Perry. She’s very decent and will most likely have a few hits that will make everyone’s heads nod.
Last week we messed up and posted Nicki Minaj’s verse from “Stop Da Bullshit” as a snippet from her first single, “Massive Attack,” featuring Sean Garrett. Well, Tapemasters Inc. relaunched their site and wanted to show off by premiering a tagged up exclusive snippet of the single.
*Shakes head, rolls eyes* We’re going to give Minaj and Garrett the benefit of the doubt and wait for the full, untagged CDQ to leak before we critique this.
UPDATE: *continues to shake head, rolls eyes* We’re not “hating” but Minaj has flooded the Hip-Hop game so much that we’ve heard her from every angle. Unfortunately, Minaj is not diverse enough to bring us epic. Then there’s Sean Garrett who brags about all of his work in interviews which now makes us think the song he did with Rihanna won’t even be anything to even speak about. I’m sorry but we need to hear something else.

Lady GaGa is in the process of writing her third studio album whilst touring and traveling. The Pop megastar sent along a few messages to one of her fansites, GaGaDaily, about the album’s progress:
I’VE ALREADY WRITTEN THE FIRST SINGLE FOR THE NEW ALBUM
AND I PROMISE YOU, THAT THIS ALBUM IS THE GREATEST OF MY CAREER. IT IS THE ANTHEM FOR OUR GENERATION
I WROTE IT FOR YOU
BECAUSE OF YOU, WHEN I WAS IN LIVERPOOL, I WROTE THE GREATEST MUSIC I’VE EVER WRITTEN [SOURCE]
You have to love GaGa for hyping up her own material. It’s lovely that she still gets excited about what she does for a living. We hope she’s ready for a little revolution of sound because we don’t know how many more “Poker Faces” and “Bad Romances” we can listen to.
Rap-Up reported exclusively today that Ciara will collaborate for a 3rd time with Ludacris for her first single, “Ride,” off of the entertainer’s upcoming fourth studio album. When the two get together they usually start a fire especially in the case of the first collaboration, “Oh.”
The producer nor writer of “Ride” have been announced but it The-Dream, Bangladesh, Tricky Stewart, Darkchild and more will contribute to the album. We have our fingers crossed for the two ATL natives.
A new Christina Aguilera album only comes around every so often and with things just recently kicking off it’s a sure thing that she will do all the legit forms of promotion. A great deal of this promotion will include live specials. Here’s what Aguilera told a fan on her radio show recently:
“I definitely have [thought about releasing a live album]. It’s definitely going to be something that I will put out in the future at some point, just not yet. But I will be doing some things with MTV, Storytellers and you know, a lot of other live work that will consist of a lot of live performing, and maybe in the future we’ll put that together on an album”. If Kanye West’s VH1 Storytellers is anything to go by then BRING IT ON! As for MTV Unplugged, this will be a perfect opportunity for Aguilera to put those vocals on display, especially after it was announced that Bionic will feature less of her over-the-top pipes.
Also, be sure to return around this time tomorrow as Aguilera will give the official full premiere of the Polow Da Don produced and Ester Dean written “Not Myself Tonight” tomorrow evening.

The über-unique Kelis is alive and soaking our eyes with striking visuals as the video premiere for her first single, “Acapella,” rolls out from her fifth studio album, Flesh Tone. The Rankin and Chris Cottam directed video has a prominent tribal theme and is based upon a world with only one woman left in it.
Kelis is always 10 steps ahead of the pack. While she is not the most popular, or recognized if you understand and know what you’re looking at, Kelis is usually the first to bring it about. So original and we can honestly place the word “artist” in front of her name, great video! Check out the video as well as her performing a new song, “22nd Century,” after…
