A few weeks ago it was reported that Leona Lewis was going ahead with the recording of her third studio album. Apparently the plan is for Lewis to hit the studio with producer August Rigo to produce a “more classic RnB/Urban” sound for the next album:
Brookland Entertainment president Eric Nicks has confirmed via his Twitter that producer/songwriter August Rigo is about to hit the studio with Leona Lewis to start work on her third studio album. The sessions are likely to take place once Leona’s 6-week UK Arena tour comes to an end this summer. [SOURCE]
Echo ruined most things we loved about Lewis. The bit of organic energy she gave off was killed when her sophomore album surfaced. We hope this third album is a lot different, in a good way. Thanks to reader Ben for the tip.
